I went to Atlantic Physical Therapy for Pelvic Floor PT, something I didn't do after my first birth but wanted to do after giving birth to my second. I am shocked at how well it worked and how much more comfortable and confident I am now. I am singing the praises of pelvic floor PT and Atlantic Physical Therapy to all of my friends. it was really easy to schedule appointments and everyone in the office was so friendly and great to work with.

I had been having issues with back pain but my foot pain had been steadily increasing until I was hobbling instead of walking. Michelle was able to direct me to get better shoes and inserts and show me exercises that helped to get me so much stronger! I still have some issues, at my age that’s a given, but I feel so much better now!Thank you so much Michelle and the wonderful staff at Atlantic Physical Therapy in South Philadelphia!

Atlantic Physical Therapy is the best! I initially came in dealing with pelvic floor pain and was a bit nervous about the treatment process. However, Michelle and her amazing team walked me through the treatment plan, and allowed me to ask any and all questions. Throughout my time at the clinic, I have made remarkable progress physically but also mentally. I feel I am leaving more empowered, with a deeper understanding of my body and how to manage flare-ups. Michelle and her staff are also hilarious, and made going to PT something I genuinely looked forward to. Thank you Atlantic Physical Therapy!!

Atlantic Physical Therapy is the BEST. When I started going 4 months ago, I was not doing well physically or mentally. Today, I am fully recovered and feeling better than I have in years. Thank you to Christina for her compassion, knowledge, humor, and encouragement. She knows exactly how hard to push to help you recover and get stronger at the right pace. Erica makes the whole scheduling and insurance processes easy, and is such a delight to see at the front desk. Thank you to the whole team. I'm almost hoping I need physical therapy again just so I can come back!

I'm wrapping up a 2-month course of treatment with APT and they are awesome, knowledgeable, fun, and professional. I had quite a few joint issues after each of my 2 births, and their treatment has been relevant and useful at various stages of recovery from "can't walk for 2 minutes without pain" to preparing for competitive sports again. Scheduling is easy and efficient.When they say they are baby-friendly, they are REALLY baby friendly. There's a basket of toys, they'll modify exercises so you can hold your baby instead of dumbbells, they'll even hold your baby and make them giggle while you do exercises. It's made getting to physical therapy much more accessible.

After developing plantar fasciitis in both feet they helped start standing and walking again. Friendly staff and I got to know them all by name toward the end. The atmosphere is more relaxed than your usual hospital outpatient pt experience, which was a nice change. The therapists are very competent and highly trained/educated. I'd like to go back for any future problems.

I came to APT with tendinitis in my thumb and horrible nerve pain in my arm. I had already been through 3 months of PT with another provider and had a cortisone shot and was still in pain with an arm that wasn’t functional. Michelle and Christina were able to diagnose and treat what the doctors and other PT’s I saw had missed. A year later, I am completely out of pain and back to function and able to be back in Pilates class 2x a week, lift my child and play the piano (my profession). In the meantime, I have sent my husband here when he injured his back and they instantly got him back in shape as well. I am so grateful for APT. Highly recommended!!!!

Atlantic PT helped me recover after having my first child. The waiting area is clean and calming, and the therapy space is fun and relaxed. The PTs there are all very knowledgable, and the doctoral student I worked with for several sessions was excellent. My PT, Michelle, designed a home program where I saw real progress and improvement, along with my weekly sessions. I'd highly recommend their services for anyone who is recovering postpartum.

I saw Christine for a few visits post partum - she is amazing. So so professional, knowledgeable. The space is also clean, tidy - with all the equipment you would need. Even the front desk help is so polite and kind. my husband just went this past week for his bicep and was equally as impressed. highly recommend.

It's been about a month since my last appointment and I'm very pleased that I chose Atlantic for my stubborn elbow pain/golfer's elbow. Any physical therapy requires consistent work and effort on the part of the patient, but with the guidance of Christina and Michelle, my pain is mostly gone and I feel much better prepared to prevent, manage, and work through issues that may come up in the future.Beginning with Erica -- who was extremely prompt, friendly, and professional in explaining billing/insurance and scheduling appointments -- the intake process was very thorough and they were realistic (yet optimistic) about the course of treatment and overall prognosis. Over the course of ~2 months, the focus remained on continuing and reincorporating regular activities as much as possible.I enjoyed (and even looked forward to) going to my sessions twice a week -- the environment is low-key and supportive, and I found it motivating to have other patients around working on their own exercises and treatments.While I hope I won't need PT again any time soon, I wouldn't hesitate at all to go back to my friendly neighbors at Atlantic!
