Ordered a pair of exercise pants for $99.00 on Sunday, June 4th. The pants needed to be hemmed. Was told the pants would go out tomorrow, Monday, and be back in the store Friday, June 9th. At that time the store would ring me. Fri no call, weekend no call. I finally called Monday to be told hemming takes 2 weeks and I (I) was to call back. Today, Saturday 17, I called the store and my pants were in and had been in since Thursday, June 15th. Nobody called to let me know. On the phone I told the associate this. She said, normally we do call and they will hold the pants. Is there an apology somewhere in this sloppy confusion?

I ordered online through the Athleta Instagram page and didn't think to check if I could return items ordered through Instagram in person, totally my fault. I went to this specific store to do a return and the individuals working this morning were incredible!! They spent an hour fighting with their online customer service to get me an in store return and help me find a solution. When their online customer service said I could only mail the item back the manager there had me forward her the shipping label customer service had emailed me and shipped the item back for me herself! The entire time all the staff were incredibly helpful, never once seemed impatient or upset and tried earnestly to help me out. They had the best attitudes even though their AC was broken and it's ridiculously hot out! What could have easily been an awful experience ended up being pleasant and I can't thank them enough. As for their clothes, I've loved all the pieces I've ordered. My return was for pants I misjudged the sizing on and it's the only item from them I've ever returned. I try to go to the gym daily, and I'm an artist that frequently works with materials hard on clothes. The clothing I've purchased has held up remarkably in both my studio and my gym classes while also looking fashionable and flattering.

I had good results. I needed to exchange gifts from my grandchildren who are very tall. They got me xs but not petit. The Philly store does not carry petit so they gave me a gift card. I will order from the catalog in future. Wish they did carried petit.

Have been buying Athleta since it opened and still do. My 3 star rating is because I never end up buying anything in this store in particular. The lighting in the dressing rooms is so harsh that nothing ever looks worth buying. Please put better lights in your dressing rooms that are bright but not harsh and shadowy. Instant bad-mood inducing lights! Sales people are always great, so no issue on that front.

Went in for the 20% off bras and the staff (a wonderful male) in the waiting room was more than helpful for me to find the exact size and type that worked for me. Was happy with the Simone Bile tank. Was chatty, helpful, and complimentary. They were sadly out of a lot of sizes tho so I had to buy some items online :(

I ordered a bikini from the online website for $59 back in March. Waited for it's arrival and a bathing top came from UPS. I was shocked. There are no return labels, nor any kind of fine print on the site to tell you they are separates. It definitely sends the impression you will be getting a full bikini for that price. I purposely ordered early since I would beat the summer crowd. When I called to inquire they did not even bother to apologize. Rather, they said I can return to the USPS, with me printing out a label or call (on my dime, since they are paperless) UPS and pay to have it shipped back. They really need to specify better what exactly they are selling and/or shipping to their clients. Definitely will never shop here again.

Let me start by saying, I never really wanted to spend my money here. Most of Gap's brands do not fit or flatter me (except Intermix - love Intermix). I forgot to bring my leggings with me to work, and I never skip the gym, so I found myself a coupon and headed here to buy some leggings. Not an overly welcoming store. Mostly, I was extremely surprised by how THIN the fabric on the leggings were. Downright appalling for the price. I'm used to Alo leggings, and if I'm feeling cheap, Under Armour Outlet leggings. I tried on two pairs, and went with a high-waist velvet pair that I could wear once to the gym (not ideal) and then casually with a tunic sweater and boots - I'd been wanting a pair anyway. I bought an XS, could have probably gone XXS if I'd been working out in these regularly. Tight legs, loose waist, just like every other Banana, Gap, Old Navy thing I've ever tried on! I like more of a sleek look for my gym clothes, and a lot of the stuff here looked boring and like they tried to copy Alo or Carbon38 unsuccessfully. Thankfully, I was able to use my coupon, because these thin leggings are not worth the price, not even the price after the coupon!

Uhhh, i just wanna say to the incredible beautiful woman (an Angel with pretty face, round glasses, beautiful eyes and that gorgeous blonde hair) who assist me when i was lost my best wishes to his entire life, family, friends and even if she have a boyfriend to that guy to for having an angel on his side (take care of her, god is watching you and my too), have a wonderful year all of you ❤

I love this store. The sales associates are super friendly and helpful, there is a great selection in a variety of different sizes and colors.
