Whole experience was average ar best. Food order was wrong, the chicken shawarma looked like boiled chicken breast, service was slow, hostess was bothered by our request to not be seated by the restrooms…. Wont be coming back any time soon, there are much better options for mediterranean food in the

Apricot Stone is a must dine experience! I went with one of my best friends who is a huge foodie and we did the two diner experience. The grape leaves were delicious, homemade hummus with pita bread, skewers and rice pilaf, oh and the dessert was had these dough flakes I've never had before it was so tasty! Oh and we love a BYOB too, the only tough part is finding parking but the service is fantastic and ambience is nice. We will be back again soon.

Great valentines date night! When we arrives they had a red rose at our table which set a wonderful ambiance. We ordered the dinner for 2 and received generous portions of very delicious food for a fair price! Typically we have to choose between relatively affordable, delicious, and portion size. Not here, and as a bonus the food was quite healthy. Definitely would recommend for anyone looking for Mediterranean/Armenian cuisine. Also, their Phylo is to die for.

Excellent food, great service and ambiance. I was impressed to see how packed the place was too!! I love seeing so many people show up for delicious Armenian food. Highly recommend the manti and the lamb shish kebab. We can't wait to go

It was our first time to dine with Apricot Stone and it was one of the best experiences I've ever had. The restaurant was clean and I liked the vibe and atmosphere. It has a very friendly and welcoming staff. The food was great and excellent. Every dish wash perfectly seasoned and very tasty. We had the tasting menu and it was the perfect suggestion from our host. I would come back again to dine with them again.

Food is great. I have ordered takeout several times, my new “go to” place for middle eastern food!

I grew up eating Armenian food and was really looking forward to dining here after hearing very good things about it. But I left rather disappointed. Most of the food was not terrible, but neither was it very inspired or noteworthy, especially for the prices. The appetizer portions of the kofta, lahmajun, and borek were small single servings. I have never been to a restaurant before that doesn't serve these dishes in at least portions of 2-3 . The lamb kebab was cooked just right, and the muhamara was delicious. But the jajik was a bit too watery, and the rice pilaf that came with the kebab had a distinctive chemical taste as though it was being stored next to sterilized hospital equipment (probably the worst pilaf I've had in recent memory). The knafeh and baklava were fine, but $4 for a surj is really pushing it.In all, you can get better Middle Eastern fare for a fraction of the price at any number of spots in Philly.

I've had amazing experiences here and the food has always been top quality. Unfortunately when I went for a medium meal the waitress kept trying to encourage us to order more, and when it was clear we were fine with our 4 tapas plates for two people, rushed us out as quickly as she could. It was at the point where she was taking our silverware after we told her we were still working on our food, haha. I think we spent under an hour there and we had a reservation, so it's not like they'd squeezed us in. Really disappointing after my previous great experiences with service.

This small restaurant has a wide variety of extremely delicious options. I went with my wife and two friends and we all thoroughly enjoyed our meal. The staff was very nice and attentive. Highly recommended.

Came here with the family for a birthday dinner and Apricot Stone again was awesome. We started with a variety of appies including hummus, muhamara, lebneh, babaganoush, falafel, grilled cheese and grilled veggies. They come with crispy pita chips as well as traditional soft pita. All were great, the grilled veggies are always surprisingly better than they should be, smoky and charred and the grilled cheese between two pitas is excellent. That was a lot to start with but we also got the lamb kebabs and the chicken shawarma kebabs. They too were served with pita and were perfectly cooked. The staff is always attentive and friendly. This is a BYOB so be prepared, but that's also what makes this a great deal for the quality of the food. Highly recommend!

The food was delicious! I loved that small plates were available so we could try some of everything. Everything was perfectly seasoned. We loved the enclosed outdoor seating- it felt very European.

This pilaf is the closest I’ve ever had to the kind my Armenian family has made my entire life—the browned noodles, all of it. Everything else was also great.
