I have a design business and my computer is crucial to what I do.I had a confirmed appointment with the Apple Genius Bar today at 12:30. I received two confirmations - one yesterday at 10:30 am when I made the appointment, and another this morning at 9:15 am.When I arrived at the store at 12:30 today it had big taped notices on the door saying the store was closed and to call their 1 - 800 number if I had had a Genius Bar appointment. The store was empty except for a security guard and a young woman, who - when I knocked several times - came to the door.I told her I had a 12:30 appointment and she said that "I should have received a cancellation email". That was it.I had received NO such email. If I had, I would not have been there.I called the 800 number and the Apple representative had no record of my appointment even though I had TWO emails confirming it.After finally speaking with a supervisor and reporting that this was the final straw - the last time I was at this location several months before - the bathrooms were broken, I had to wait over 45 minutes for a scheduled appointment and the person assigned to me could not figure out how to solve the issue with my apple mail.BTW - No one at Apple who I spoke to knew why the store was closed.I told the supervisor that when my appointment was rescheduled for Friday I wanted a Senior person - so that at least I could be sure that after all of this waste of my time and all of the aggravation - this time I could be sure to get someone with experience and more knowledge. He said no that was not possible.I called back again and this time I got another supervisor - William F. from Sacramento - who said he would call this store and explain the (many) issues that I had had and would do everything he could to get me an experienced Senior advisor for my new appointment. If I do, and the issue is resolved - I will possibly amend this review.I have been to many, many Apple stores in New York and other places and this particular Apple store is not up to the standards that I have experienced, and come to expect.UPDATE - I am revising this review from one star to two because supervisor William F from Sacramento called me to say that he had finally gotten through to the Walnut St.store and that the supervisor Christy assured him that I would have the Lead Genius bar advisor Andrew to help me at my new appointment.Thankfully.This only took 3 hours of my work time - counting travel time and speaking with 4 people on the phone at Apple. It could all have been avoided if they had only sent me an email explaining that there had been a leak and my options to reschedule.

It’s been weeks and they have not been able to fix my Macbook. First time I come in to get my trackpad fixed the man “helping” said that since he could only see me do it that he couldn’t open it up to find the problem. I try coming back, and when I get there a woman tells me that they’re closed (with no reason given). I was not given any notice of this. So I wasted part of my morning and my laptop still is not functional. The people who work here clearly don't care about their jobs, but I care about mine and I'm unable to do mine due to their incompetence.

Staff definitely has a weird vibe. Some are helpful some are not. I asked one person for help and instead of just saying they didn’t have whatever equipment they needed to help me, they just looked at their coworker and she stepped in to help. Very weird and rude behavior. I wouldn’t have come here if I didn’t have to.

Great service. I made it early for my appointment and they still checked me in. Don’t expect parking close to the store. Store occupy the street, hardly ever parking Meter parking available all around

The customer experience is terrible and extremely strange – when you enter the store, there are 3-4 employees who's sole job is to explain why the 15 other employees (all gossiping amongst themselves) can't actually help you with anything. Instead, you'll need to wait for an appointment. Despite being one of the few customer in the store, I was assigned an appointment with a 20 minute wait time (which actually took 30+ minutes). Again, tons of employees standing around, but none allowed to actually assist.Maybe, just maybe, this process might make sense IF my request was extremely unique or difficult. But all I needed was a faulty product diagnosis and replacement. Anybody can stick the diagnostic tool in, see the fault, and issue a new product. It takes 5 minutes. It's not like this is some advanced process that only certain employees know how to do. Its just bad leadership from store management, who is poorly representing Apple's brand. It comes from the top.Only reason it wasn't one star is because the person who ultimately assisted was reasonably helpful, which I do appreciate. Just don't understand why she had to be the only one working – not fair to her or the customers.

Terrible experience with Ryan at the Genius Bar. Walked in to get help with some AirPods that were acting up and a Face ID that wasn’t working on my phone. He told me my air pods were fake and that I would have to pay to have the Face ID fixed. I can’t remember the exact amount right now but it was over $100. Since the air pods were a gift, I was so shocked, I didn’t think to challenge him on the spot. Ryan told me the font of the writing on the AirPods is how he could tell. He sounded confident and didn’t do anything else to verify their authenticity. I did not want to spend that much money so I decided to wait on the Face ID repair. He was absolutely WRONG on both things. When I got back home to my city, I was able to exchange the AirPods and the Face ID was fixed with a simple update. Ryan should have his Genius status reviewed. Do not trust his advice.

Honestly I usually don’t leave reviewed but my service here was terrible! The associates are literally standing around talking to each other like I had to go up to two different people to get where I needed to be. Once I was at pickup the pickup person was acting like he didn’t want to work and told me I needed to call supoort to check on my pickup time. Like how am I in the apple store and still have to call support? Overall my experience was just really bad and expected people to be more friendly and attentive.

Worst customer service. Ignorant employees who are not educated on their own policies, particularly "manager" Sara.I was completely dismissed, and Sara condescendingly told me my "feedback was noted." She did nothing to help resolve the issue and was completely ignorant to Apple's own policies. I called Apple directly and they resolved the issue. Don't bother going this store. You'll leave feeling dismissed, annoyed, and not helped.

Poor customer experience I went in to get my iPad battery replaced and needed a diagnosis done first. Met this tech and told him I wasn’t done backing my things up first but requested for him to run my diagnostics to see if I need my battery replaced. He then said he can’t wait around for me to back things up and made me wait for another appointment. I waited there for an hour and a half and finally another tech ran a diagnostics for me and told me my battery was fine. Shouldn’t have had to wait an hour and a half just to be told my battery is fine. Not happy with that first tech.

I came to the Apple Store when my iPhone 15 had been rendered incapacitated just before needing to leave town. Justin was a lifesaver. Super patient, kind, and helpful. Sat and chatted with me while working out the phone issue and ended up helping me get a replacement phone just in time to catch my train. I cannot thank him enough!! If Tim Cook is reading this, please take Justin with you on your next vacation - he deserves it!

Walked in and wasn’t welcomed which is fine, but with 5 employees standing around not doing nothing, none of them tried to help me. I had to reach out and ask some white guy with blonde hair if they had a certain phone. He tried to walk away and ignore me, but without even looking at me told me they were sold out and I left. Very unprofessional.
