Its history is incomparable, the guide was very specific in the history of the museum and explained everything in detail, and made those present participate with questions and even invited the children to take part in the discussion. Excellent museum and very well maintained.

There are some interesting pieces of written history about flora and fauna of eastern America. There are a few taxidermy birds and plenty of neat field drawings. It is free, and donations are encouraged.

Philosophical Hall is open for business operations Monday-Friday, 9 am-5 pm. The Museum exhibition is open Thursday-Sunday, 10 am-5 pm. The American Philosophical Society is the oldest learned society in the United States. Founded by Benjamin Franklin in 1743, it continues its mission of "promoting useful knowledge" through research, fellowships, and public outreach. Philosophical Hall is also home to the APS Museum, where visitors will see exhibitions drawn from the Society’s renowned collections that trace American history and science from the Founding Fathers to the digital age.
