Always an interesting exhibit - I am a fan of the center for industry-related events and their store.

This place was quite small, but it had some interesting things for sale. The employees were nice and told me that most of the products were from local artists and craftspeople. I got two enamel pins to add to my collection.

I was here for the AIA convention and thought the place was a good venue. I also competed in the Parklet completion across the street from the convention center and loved all the foot traffic we got from all the architects.

Several years ago this store had an extensive collection of books, many high quality and distinctive personal and household items, and a tasteful stock of greeting cards. It has shrunk to almost nothing in size, quality, and interest. Instead of a community asset, we have a tourist stop where conventioneers can pick up something to take home.

Good albeit somewhat limited selection of new and cool items for giving. Wonderful set of items for kids of all decades. Best part is form meets function with many items.

I was visiting the Fabric Museum next door and saw the attractive window for this store. Its an interesting place- in back there are a series if photos of Philly and some large posters about INFILL projects, as well as nice clean restrooms. Up front is a great book and gift shop. And all free (unless you buy that neat stuff you are looking at.) Its very near the Reading Terminal.

There's an interesting and eclectic collection of toys and kitchen/home gadgets as well, and it's a great place to browse while waiting for one of the Center For Architecture's fabulous walking tours of the city, which include Furness's PA Academy of Fine Art, the Loews hotel (PSFS building), and Wanamakers, plus fascinating commentary and a much better understanding of the Gilded Age and modern city.
