This location is clearly understaffed. Waited over 25 minutes to order food at the seafood counter. When I tried to leave the machine tried to charge me $18 for parking!! Take the extra time to go to a different location where they have a sufficient amount of employees and parking is FREE

4001 Walnut St ACME is not for ME and the Acme Market certainly not representative of the chain brand These are my opinions And no one shouldn’t be detour from going here But I rather venture outside the neighborhood Where it’s nicer and the Staff is pleasant not passive These folk don’t dress in the uniform attire. unfriendly Attitudes un willingness to assist customer when at self check out. They see you and go straight into the back.

I had 17 items so was told I could not use one of the many open self checkouts (despite there being no line behind me). Only one open other checkout with a very long line. Hire more cashiers!

Acme is way too expensive for the same products on other stores shelves. What am I paying for? The deals aren’t even deals if better ones are outside. I hate spending my money here because my dollar is so weak that mayonnaise for tuna salad is bankruptcy.

Nasty attitude miserable ppl who work there also they will advertised a sale then when you get to the register say you can’t get it for the price no sorry or anything and will roll their eyes and these are grown women at that smh

Horrible grocery store that is way overpriced for the quality of food and cleanliness of the site. I've had to toss several batches of fruits and/or vegetables because I found mold inside. Inspecting produce in the store, most of it is old and wilted and many have visible mold growing on them.

An armpit of a store. The prices are far too high and the selection leaves much to be desired. To add insult to injury, they are too cheap to fully validate your parking. It's a better deal to go to whole foods.

This is absolutely the worst grocery store in the city of Philadelphia. There were several occasions in which I shopped here, and I noticed I’m constantly being watch by the security guard who works for Allied Universal, which made me very uncomfortable. I believe if you are watching me this close, you are definitely seeing that I’m paying for my merchandise, but you are still following me around the store every time I come in. Also, Acme needs to train all workers on how to be professional at the workplace. As a business owner myself, I would not hire one single person from this store!

For a small local grocery store this place has everything you need and then some. During my first visit a cashier went out of his way to quickly sign me up for savings even though there was a line of people waiting to pay for their groceries. Great prepared food section as well.

Very typical grocery store. Had good selection. Not a fresh market or Whole Foods but enough for tourists.
