Went today 7-15-2024 and was told by the security guard (Char) that the electric chairs were for the elderly.
I was under the impression that chairs are for the disabled and elderly. I feel because she seen I was young she assumed I didn’t need it. I didn’t like that. Some disabilities can’t be seen. Please don’t assume.
Update: Went again today 7-16-2024 and was getting a electric shopping cart when I was told by the security guard (Char) and the guy who collects the carts (Marcus) that the chairs were for the elderly and disabled. To which I responded “So because you can't see my disability then I’m not disabled?” Marcus responded and said “what’s your disability?” So not only am I being discriminated against because my disability can’t be seen, I get questioned too? Idk, perhaps because I’m black they think I’m faking it. Which is stereotyping. I asked for the manager and she told them both that I was allowed to use the carts.
Then when I left the store on both occasions, Marcus followed me closely so he could get the cart back. Which made feel very uncomfortable. I will be calling the director and corporate.
Edit: Spoke to Dir. Craig Huska and got absolutely nowhere. Conveniently he didn’t know the security guards last name or what security company she worked for. It would have took him less than 5 seconds to go and ask for her info.

I was there at 9:40pm and the security guard closed the door and said we're closing. the store doesn't actually close till 10pm. I was only trying to buy one item.

Sometimes they're out of certain regular items I like. Their prices are higher than ShopRite & Walmart, but they do have nice selections of various items. Store tends to be very busy at times. I like the self checkout.

I went in about an hour ago and asked for olive loaf sliced thin. And a pound of American cheese. The guy repeated it back to me so I know he heard me. He was laughing while he was working and I wondered why. Because he cut it so thick it’s almost inedible. I don’t understand what the problem was or why I was treated that way. I don’t think I’ll be getting my lunchmeat here anymore. Not only that but the cheese was dirty when I opened it.it had brown streaks across the top of it. Over $20 of lunchmeat in the trash. Thanks Acme.

Been coming here for years due to the convenient proximity to home. It's always been disappointing but lately with the remodel, it's taken horrible customer service to a whole new level. They couple the alcohol line with the express line and only have one open at a time, so you are promptly chastised and turned away if you have more than 10 items.Tonight, I'm with my two toddlers to buy a pack of beer and ~20 groceries. Pull into the alcohol/express lane and met with an unwelcome greeting from the clerk who points out that I can't bring my groceries through the line. Keep in mind- no one was even behind me. I ask her to kindly make an exception since no one is behind me and I'm with my two children. She says no and continues to blame the corporate greed of Acme. While I don't think she is wrong, this was in her control and she acted poorly. I buy the beer and go to the self checkout to do my own groceries, where 3 young workers are just standing around.This store is so poorly managed.

You: I try to buy Amazon gift card in the customer service desk, and a man help me for that. He ask me how I going to pay, I say cash. And then he ask me a question, he say it so fast and I didn’t hear exactly what he say. I thought it was not an important question, so I just answered yes. He say I can’t buy the gift card anymore because I answered yes. And also he said he will only say the question one time. He said my family and me can’t buy gift cards anymore. That’s racism.
