Everytime I order online there's an issue. Last order had a bag of bad onions, fruit that went bad in 2-3 days, 1 bad vegetable, deli cheeses and meats sliced unbelievably thick-too thick to put on a cold sandwich...I ended up having to pay another supermarket for delivery. Today I have a really short order scheduled for delivery because I'm afraid to order anything fresh, yet they just notified me they don't have hot dog rolls, multigrain bread, or club rolls! So now I won't have any bread! Are you kidding me??? My substitution choice for hot dog rolls were long rolls. Well my hot dogs aren't long, sooooooo...wheat bread instead of multigrain...nada, & no substitution for a bag of 12 rolls. Guess I'm ordering from Giant again...sigh
Addendum: My order was delivered yesterday. My deli American cheese was sliced absolutely perfectly thin today! Kudos to whomever was working in the deli!

This acme is absolutely terrible. Store is dirty, there are no longer any shopping baskets. Only carts that are terribly taken care of. The selection is poor, the produce section is never fresh, Have many found products in produce with mold and past their expiration. All frozen products are freezer burnt. There is NEVER a full service checkout. Only for alcohol. When forced to use self checkout employees with stare you down like a hawk, give you dirty looks ect. Why am I forced to use it? Now one of the entrances is permanently closed due to I’m sure theft. How many inconveniences are we trying to rack up at this location? Will never be coming back and everyone I know in the neighborhood agrees with me. Someone needs to step up to the plate.

I am changing my review of this store that I put up 6 years ago. The employees at self check out are absolutely rude! When someone is a paying customer and you have someone hovering over you as if you’re stealing something is absolutely bad business. Going into a store and being made to feel uncomfortable is NOT okay!!
I understand that unfortunately we live in a world where people steal and that’s NOT okay, but you’re going to make your paying customers feel like this??
I have now been going out of my way to go to the ACME At Roosevelt Blvd and Solly Ave.( ACME Always has the freshest cut fruit).

Horrible experience lately at this store. I was a regular shopper here, but no longer after yesterday. It used to be a good store, but the last 6 months it has gone into the toilet. They rarely ever have enough workers in the store to ring you up. You have to either do self check out or wait in a mile-long line. Why have so many registers if they are never open? I spoke with the woman at customer service and she said the company did a major cut on employee hours so they are doing the best they can with a smaller crew. How can Acme charge such high prices but can't afford to staff their store? It is noticeable at every department. The store is like a ghost town. It used to have so many employees that you would know by name because you saw them so often. Now it is just sad. Corporate greed strikes again.

I love my acme, however the prices have gone way up and they've gotten rid of too many things I used to get there! My pharmacy is there too and I refuse to switch so its very convenient for me. So I still go there, my husband now prefers Giant...

Went to self checkout because there was one cashier open and the line was down the aisle .. the self checkout lady was EXTREMELY rude . She was hovering around me the whole time which was very strange and uncomfortable and then accused me of stealing a bag of potatoes that were in my cart I told her to check my receipt I spent over $100 that was ridiculous and I told her she said said I'm sorry u feel that way but in a sarcastic way don't know her name because I wanted to report her! Old lady with long grayish color hair I think it's time she retired because apparently she does not know about customer service skills!

I will absolutely not be coming back to any Acme ever again. I got here at 7:30 and shop for a half an hour. Had a cart full of groceries and when I got up to the front the only things that were open were self-checkout and beer and wine. I asked a gentleman if he would check me out since I had a lot of groceries and he said no, they stopped doing cashiers at this time of night a while ago. At the store patrons are expected to check out their own groceries no matter how much they have in their car at night. This just shows me that this store puts profits before people. That is not something that I want to support. I am willing to go the extra few miles to the giant to give them my business. Also this store is more expensive so I will not be visiting again. My last gripe is the fact that no matter how many people are standing around in the store nobody will open up a register for somebody with a cart full of groceries. This is just bad bad service. And to top it off the lady at self check out that it's training us all like dogs is always snippy. And no, I am not a boomer. I Am A 43 year-old Generation X who hates to see how automation is ruining things
