I brought a used car into the shop to get it inspected before purchase. The guys at Class Act lived up to their name. They put together a comprehensive list of work and even broke it down into immediate needs and work that could be pushed off. Their explanations on required work empowered me to negotiate a much better price back at the dealership. If I wasn’t located so far away, this would definitely be my go to shop. Can’t say enough good things about these guys.

It says so right in the name, Class Act Auto Repair is truly one of a kind. I started coming here a few months ago after I was recommended a repair on my hub bearing. It was before the holidays and they were able to get me in and out just in time when the first place I went to (big name brand) didn't have an appointment. They were faster and quoted me a price that was well below the big brand auto shop. Jack and the team here are really knowledgeable about what they do and took the time to explain what they were doing snd why which I really appreciated. I've had a few more auto repairs I've needed since then (including some major brake repairs) and they've always been on time and super solid.Tl;dr: come to Class Act for your auto needs. Best choice you can make!Pro tip: park close to the shop on 16th or 17th, there's typically a spot or two open.

This shop is top notch service. They are able to get your vehicle in quickly, always give you an honest opinion, and are fairly priced. I was told by AutoZone that I needed a new alternator and starter, but Rob and the rest of his crew looked and the car and determined that the diagnosis wasn't accurate, and no service was needed. I have been going here for multiple years for various issues and have always had a great experience.Services: Oil change

I've been hunting for a good garage around South Philly west of Passyunk since moving to the neighborhood 3 years ago. I tried maybe 4 different garages before landing on Class Act. + NO CONDESCENSION - talks to you like a person, not a dummy, regardless of gender + Takes credit cards - shockingly many of the garages down Bancroft/Passyunk don't take cards which is a huge pain if the cost is in the hundreds + Fast + Keeps you updated + Won't perform any work until they get your consent - No cons :)

While your car is being worked on, the others will make sure you are informed of the process and recommend local places to hang out. Transparency of what my cars needs and pricing is communicated.
