This place is a little store front THAT YOU CANNOT CONTACT by phone !!I called CORPORATE, the phone rang twice, and the phone hung- up !!I called Technical Support and their phone never rang -- dead number !!I emailed them twice about some 'filing info' and both times i got someone who:1. doesn't understand English very well and,2. responded with 2 really stupid answers that didn't answer my question as if they were foreigners !!!The answer both times turned out to be "mud-that-covered-the-ground" type-answers and I STILL don't have an answer to my question !!!If you want that "Oh, my God, I'm on the Titanic !" feeling, you might want to file with "1040NOW" !!!Additionally, "1040NOW" may be a "one-man operation" who is answering all "Technical Support" inquiries ( email AND phone calls ) by his or her personnel cell phone !!Like I said, whoever responded to my email doesn't understand English very well.When your "Corporate Offices" are some little store-front in Philadelphia, one does NOT feel comfortable sharing one's personal info ( tax or otherwise ) with 1040NOW.The "big places" cost more, but are PROFESSIONAL, and, in this case, are worth the money.I was going to try this "organization" out, but NOT NOW !! 1040NOW is just "too podunk" for my liking.

This site is awful. Terrible intracellular, constant server maintenance, and *still*, nothing on the site works. Use someone else. It's all into 2023 and I'm still struggling to get my 2021 return filed. Running into a problem with the site at every turn, that has drawn this out for months.

So unnecessarily complicated. Website interface is awful! Who would design that? I paid for Tax Slayer instead. It was easy to use and well worth the $35.

I filed in the beginning of April, as of today the state of Oklahoma still hasn't gotten anything posted to them. LeVing us in hot water. You all didn't hesitate to take our money. I should of just mailed it in.

Would give negative stars if I could. Advertised on state government website as free, qualified for the free status, then basically held my state return ransom until I paid their fee anyway. This on top of a website that's straight out of 1995 and refunds that are lower than other services (TaxSlayer for example). Use literally ANY other free service. The only thing in 1040now's favor is they are cheaper than TurboTax, I guess, but that's a low bar.

Started 2022 taxes, returned a few days later to complete them and had trouble logging in. 1040Now would not allow me to create a new password and it looks like I have to start over but it will be somewhere else.

Spend time on preparing tax return and found that they are charging despite return qualifies for free filing. Wasted alot of my time. Nonsense business practices.

No notifications. No support. Brainless web design. It's cheap for obvious reasons, but you should spend your money elsewhere.

Did my return a month ago, website is fine and easy to use. 1040Now did not send my W2 documents to the state and my federal return is now delayed a month after filing. So I had to go out of my way to fax over all my W2 documents manually. Will not be using this website again and contacting the IRS is useless because no one ever answers.

I'm surprised to see so many negative reviews! Frankly, those reviews are from beginners. I was a professional for 35 years. Free? Wow, you had to pay a whopping $25 for the state? Nothing is free. Just ask Facebook users. This has been a very good option for me to file my friends and family. You don't like it, go to the mall. Those people make $12/hour and every one of them is brand new. Pay for that.

If you know what your doing cant find a better site. All state and federal forms for less than $40 can't be beat it!!!
