After seeing Velocette Studio’s restaurant interiors, I decided to reach out to see if they could help with my new veterinarian clinic’s interior update. Hope offered a two-hour commercial interior design consultation service. During the session, Hope walked through the office, listened intently to our needs, and offered great, achievable ideas (signage, space planning, materials, and décor). Hope’s excitement for design is contagious and by the end of our meeting my team and I felt inspired to evolve our clinic.

I recently consulted Hope Velocette, the owner of Velocette Studio for restaurant design advice! I am about to start construction on a new bakery that has been a long-time dream! “Taking the plunge to open my own veterinary hospital was not a decision I took lightly. It took years to build up the courage to do so and the process of going from idea and concept to opening our doors was not easy. I wanted an unconventional and innovative design that reflected our modern take on veterinary care. I did not totally understand the role of an interior designer and had no idea how important partnering with Hope would be. From our first discussion, I found Hope to be professional but also approachable. She presented several options on how to uniquely maximize the space’s aesthetic while still maintaining the high level of function I required. Velocette Studio was easy to work with and made the entire process interesting and exciting. Hope showed experience and skill through ad hoc drawings and could pivot based on unforeseen changes that arose throughout the project. I could always count on Hope to show up and quality control my contractors and make sure my hospital was being finished to the specifications they agreed to. This project helped me understand the incredible value of having a smart designer who you can rely on from start to finish. I can honestly say that without Velocette Studio’s help, that we would have opened months later, and I would have accepted a lower quality product from my contractors. It takes a special person to be able to hold contractors accountable, but also do it in a tactful and respectful way. I would happily refer Velocette Studio to any business looking for collaborative cutting-edge design. I had a small but challenging interior design project that needed a creative solution, and Hope delivered a design that was elegant and professional with a quick turnaround. She knew just the questions to ask upfront to get to the heart of what we wanted and needed (including budget), and then took it from there. Knowing that I didn't have the time/capacity to get into the details, she presented solutions for the tricky aspects of the project that fit together within an overall aesthetic vision. Who knew that such a small project could transform a space so entirely??? I worked with Hope Velocette of Velocette Studio after winning a 1 hour design consultation in a school auction. I had never worked with an interior designer before and wasn't sure how much help one could provide.
