Came here to fish with the family. My daughter and I found a picnic table and area with tree cover to block some of the rain while my wife and son fished.

I love this park! You can rent a kayak or paddleboard; we rented kayaks. It is family friendly and has a sandy beach. You can fish. There are picnic tables and restrooms. They have concerts there that are well-attended.

Lovely park, I saw many people fishing around the park. Wasn’t busy at the time we arrived and kids had fun. We were eagerly waiting for construction to be finished, and certainly a spot to enjoy with family. The beautiful walking trail is a bonus, and easy to lost in the Forrest.

I was there on a quiet day and had the picnic tables past the beach mostly to myself. Gorgeous area. I'll bet it's packed during the busy season & I feel lucky to have gotten to taken it just me & my dog.

Great and superb and awe-inspiring and amazing and wonderful and excellent and praiseworthy and simply awesome and super and fun and mindblowing and magnificent and magical and lovely and magnanimous and well-balanced and well-kept and well-done and well-maintained and peaceful and calm and pleasant. Visited at least once between January 2010 and August 2012. Beautiful fall colors (mid October). The water is very still and the colors reflected in them look surreal! Option to park on two sides. Went there early morning, so the small onsite cafe was closed and am unsure about the timings.
