I cannot give enough praise to these folks. I purchased a 1957 Thunderbird in May 2023, and had them do an initial inspection to diagnose any problems. I also had some issues with paint at spots that I wanted addressed. We decided that I should drive the car through the summer and then bring it in at the end of the season to take care of the paint issues. From the start they were very honest and informative, letting me know that they had no way of knowing what they might encounter until they started exploring the flaws and exposed any hidden deterioration that might present itself. We came up with a plan on where I wanted to start and went from there. As the paint was removed, and the body explored further, additional problems were found as well as previous shoddy repairs. At every step, the staff presented their findings and gave me options on how to proceed and their recommendations – which were always very well thought out. No repair was started without a conversation and approval from me. As the work began, I was amazed by the knowledge base, skills, talent, and passion displayed and incorporated into this project. Some of the repairs done were sheer artistry – located in places that would never be seen by anyone viewing the car. At Ragtops & Roadsters, patchwork isn’t in their vocabulary – think restoration! They are my new friends and partners for the preservation of my Thunderbird for the time I am privileged to be the custodian of this classic. I highly recommend them to anyone seeking a reliable, honest, and highly capable “partner” in restoration. - Glenn Neiman

Ragtops returned my Triumph TR4A to me on a Tuesday, and I immediately test drove it several times the rest of that week. It wasn't until my last outing, at higher speed than the previous two, that I noticed that under braking the car was veering to the left, towards the centerline of the road. I called Pat at Ragtops, explained my concern, and he was able to send a trailer to pick my Triumph up within a few days when space became available in their shop. After Craig worked on the car's brakes, it turned out some lubricant from the front suspension that they had just rebuilt had accidentally gotten into the front right disc brake. After only a day, my 4A was returned back home, forty minutes away from Ragtops, in perfect condition. The door to door delivery and the labor was all on their dime, of course, but I couldn't be happier with how my situation was resolved. I've been a satisfied client since 2017, and plan to remain one for the foreseeable future.
Thank you Ragtops!

I own a 1959 Lotus Elite. I brought my Elite to Ragtops in 2005 after I talked to Dave Hutchinson at the Philadelphia Auto Show. I had found the Elite in 1976 in upstate NY. It had been raced and crashed, glued back together ( it’s fiberglass ) and overpainted Red from original dark blue. It had been sitting in my father’s garage for many years while we grew our family. Ragtops restored every aspect of the car to concourse condition getting us a first in class in Greenwich Concourse and an invitation to Amelia Island. Absolutely beautiful job. Over the years since they have serviced the car and done projects like installing a 5 speed transmission. In fact the Elite is there now getting some minor repairs. I highly recommend their abilities. Joseph Marchione

I have not patronized this business. However I did interview there for a position as a technician. Overall, technicians should stay away from this business. Obtaining an interview was straightforward. The interview took place with their managing director and was poorly done. The director dominated the interview and it was almost impossible to get a word in edgewise. This was followed by a tour and some last comments/dialogue. I was assured that a decision on an offer would be communicated within 48 hours. Since that time (about 6 weeks now) no communication has taken place. In other words, I was "ghosted" by this business and their managing director. I find this treatment to be unprofessional and disrespectful to someone of my skills and work experience. Clearly this business does not want to hire quality technicians. As I previously said, technicians should stay away from this business. Given this treatment, you clearly do not want to work there.

I recently took my 1968 Mustang Convertible in for body work and repainting after a deer hit the front of my car causing extensive damage. We had seen examples of this company's fine work at various classic car shows over the years, so we knew this was the place to go . Jeff, Nick, Joe and the rest of the team did an amazing job restoring the car to not just its former beauty, but beyond. We appreciated the team's skill, expertise, attention to detail and responsiveness. We highly recommend this company to anyone looking for perfection in the restoration of their classic car.

Dear Jeff,I would like to extend my sincere thanks and appreciation to you, Nick, Joe and the Team at Ragtops & Roadsters. I am ecstaticwith the level of professionalism and talent performed in the restoration of my 1968 Triumph TR250.I'm still baffled how the paint matched perfectly through out the car and with all other body repairs. It looks like a brand new car.I must say that the facility is a first class operation with employees who go the extra mile for perfection. You and Nick were always available to review any of my concerns or request.I would highly recommend the team at Ragtops & Roasters to any vintage car enthusiast who wants their classic treasure cared for by the best !!SincerelyJim ScanlinServices: Auto battery replacement

Hacks! A bunch of useless, unvetted hacks that take on work they can’t do. Would have more respect if you said you couldn’t do the work. $12k for bogus work and the car to be picked up by a tow truck after a couple hundred yard drive. Suggest you get your checkbook out now. Send your techs back to Jiffy Lube too, clowns.

Great bunch of folks and some awesome machinery. They had a gorgeous Austin Healey 3000, an AC, a 356SC and a couple others. They do great work and fine craftsmanship in repair and restoration of classic cars not to mention they are a great bunch of people. I would certainly trust them to do any project for me.

Took our 32 PB Plymouth Coupe to the Pottstown location, for a tune up in April 2021. They had it for a year. Spent over $12,000. For a TUNE UP!! Finally returned it mid Oct 2022. No new charges. Update 11/12. It died again!! Had to get it towed home. Well they brought it back again 2 weeks ago. Tried starting it and guess what? It won’t start!!!! These guys know nothing about engines! It was the only thing I wanted fixed and they failed. They might be good at body work, upholstery, paint but engines….. they suck!
