it started that my transmission went, my mechanic couldn’t work on transmission, so he took it to Tim’s transmissions. I got it back quickly, drove it for 8 months, and it broke again. Took it back to Tim, he fixed it, even though it was out of warranty bc I was over in miles by 1300. He was super efficient, very personable, and an amazing business man. And he did not charge me! I would highly recommend Tim’s transmission to everyone. Great company, great people! -Lisa DeVita

My mechanic does not do transmissions, so he referred me to Tim’s. From the very first phone call, I could tell this would be a good experience, and it was. Great customer service, excellent work, and done just when it was promised. I highly recommend Tim and the shop!

Tims Transmission’s was excellent, professional and efficient with diagnosing the problem with my transmission. I was informed of everything that was wrong and very step that would be taken along the way . I had a complete understanding of exactly of how and approximately how long the solution would take. I am 100% satisfied not only with the customer service but also with the new performance of my vehicle. I don’t believe 5 stars is enough to give. The gear shift went out in our car. I was stranded....called a tow but no mechanic could get us in for a week. Not only did he take our car but fixed it the same day and asked for no payment. It was a $5 dollar bushing that most places would have charge $250 to fix. He knew we had no idea what was wrong with our car and could have swindled us but instead he refused payment and said it was because it only took him 5 minutes to fix. Could not be a more decent caring mechanic around.

I went to Tim’s to get my car looked at, and the overall atmosphere was welcoming being a young single lady. When I was driving out of there I felt like I was getting the best service in the area. I highly recommend this place to anyone no matter who they are. Honest and reliable work simple as that.

My mother recently had some car issues but was unsure of what the problem was. She contacted Tim's Transmissions and had nothing but good things to say about him and his company! Tim was very professional and although he had a very busy schedule, he was able to fit her in quickly and was able to run a computer test to see what the issues were (luckily for her it was not the transmission). He was polite, courteous, and fast. We would highly recommend this company!!PS - Tim, my mother, Cindy Stiger, said Thanks Again for everything! :-)

Tim and his team did a amazing job on my 2014 GMC yukon Denali, they did a afm dod delete . I am very happy with the service, Tim took time to explain everything to me and was very informative, I give this establishment a 5 star all around, me and my truck are very happy and pleased!!!

Hands down on of the best transmission shops I’ve ever dealt with (Have dealt with quite a few over multiple projects over the years). Have used them for personal vehicles (trans rebuild on one of the tow trucks & a few various auto bits here & there) & always refer my clients with trans issues to them. They know what they’re doing & do it at a very reasonable price. Can’t go wrong with Tim & the crew.

My stick shift was sticking and none of my trusted mechanics would work on it. They sent me to Tim's Transmission Services and I'm back on the road shifting smoothly between gears again! This is my second time using this business and I cant say enough good things about it. I took my explorer because the transmission went (so I thought) I was so upset preparing to have to pay an arm and a leg to replace it but he saved me so much money by just being honest and not finding something major that may have not been the problem. So instead a possible 2300 job came out to 400 so so happy. I refer everyone here they are all really great.

My fathers truck had some transmission problems and he broke down at 9:00pm one night. My father is 79 years old. He wanted the truck towed to Tim's Transmission in Penn Hills. We couldnt get a tow that night and had to leave the truck on the side of the road. The next day, we called Tim's and he was very pleasant and told me that we could have the truck towed to his shop. He was very honest and said that it could be a week or so until he would be able to look at it. Surprisingly, the same day, Tim called my dad and said that he looked at the truck and it was something minor and he got it all fixed and test driven. It was a blessing! We thank Tim and his team for helping him in such a fast and efficient way! Means a lot! I would reccomend Tim's Transmission to everyone!!! :)Service: Transmission
