“CFA was everything I could’ve wished for and then some.I’ve been in gyms for most of my life. Before CFA, I felt kind of lost in my fitness journey and was trying to find my way. I was nervous to try a new form of training, but now being six months in, I do not regret my decision in the slightest.The people I train with are great, the coaches and programming are great and thorough, and I will miss CFA dearly. Training became fun again, I was consistently challenged, but I gained so many friends and supporters along the way. Gabe and Jenn run a top-notch organization.”

“Love love love Level Red Boxing. Finally took the leap a few months ago to try a class. I’ve been going once a week since due to living further north. Erin was super helpful after my first class. She reached out the following day to see if I had any questions and thank us for joining.All of the instructors are great. Seeing as we don’t have a consistent day to go we’ve rotated through a handful. They all have their own unique style and vibe which I love.Great atmosphere and workout if you’re looking to try something new! ??? i usually do the 60 minute class and its a great combination of cardio, boxing, kettlebells and core. Total body workout, who doesn’t love that!”

“My granddaughter is taking swimming lessons here. EVERY instructor not only wants her to learn to swim but is so attentive, encourages, and praises her. And to me too, as I watch the progress she's made. Awesome people there! A girl who was afraid of water can't wait to go each week!Besides swimming classes, they offer family memberships and have great exercise programs for seniors, including yoga, spinning, and more. “Great facility, fair (if not cheap for Crossfit) prices, and most importantly, fantastic people. The owners, the other coaches, and the athletes are friendly and helpful. There are elite level athletes, but the community is equally welcoming to beginners like me just trying to stay healthy.I don't go anymore, but I was passing back through town and recalled the great experiences I had here. Of the six boxes I've been a member of over the years, I think of Crossfit Pittsburgh as the standard to meet.”

“Decent place to workout at, if you don't mind a dirty gym, not all but some of the younger generation just want stay on their phones and not do what they were hired for. No paper towels or cleaning fluid in machine equipment dirty and weights out in aisle too be tripped over plus you can wear street clothes and nobody says anything. A lot to be desired!”

“there are good and bad parts of hampton community center. As a whole park it is a great place to go. Big soccer fields and amazing baseball fields, but as a community center its very plain. 2 full basketball courts with dividers.”

“I took up pole dancing for health and wellness reasons. I do not like gyms. This has been a wonderful fit for me. Everyone is so positive and encouraging. I took Level 1 and 2 with Mysti. She is a wonderful teacher and clearly explains dance moves, positions, and steps. I love Sunday floor work and twerk classes with Deneese. It's like being at a pep rally. We all cheer each other. I got a membership a few days ago. I can't wait to learn more!”

“Based on my experience with Anthony and Mason at Harts Run Fitness, I can confidently say that they are excellent trainers who are dedicated to helping their clients achieve their fitness goals. I approached Anthony almost an year back with severe low back pain, labrum injury and hip impingement syndrome. I found his knowledge and expertise in fitness and exercise exceptional. Until then, my doctors and physical therapists were working on symptom control and planning to consider surgical options if it doesn't work, Anthony talked to me about making me stronger and working on my overall fitness and goals.He created personalized workout plans that catered to my specific needs. He also made me understand proper form and technique, which was essential for ensuring that I got the most out of my workouts. I am glad to say that six months down the line I felt much better and my symptoms were completely under control. I have also seen so many other success stories of their clients and I also learned to prioritize my fitness above everything else.In addition to their technical skills, they are also great motivators. “As a collegiate athlete looking to find a way to get back in shape; once college was over. I found Rugged Peaks to be the best decision I have made. It gives you the challenge needed to reach your goals and there are many events that can bring your competitive edge out again (however that's not the main focus). The community within the gym is super supportive and the owners are willing to work with you at any point of your fitness journey. I find myself needing to modify some of the workouts; Adam and Jamie, are always helpful and knowledgeable of ways you can still get an effective workout even if you need to modify. My confidence in myself and just overall boost of energy throughout my day to day has increased significantly since I made the leap to get back into fitness. I think its also super important to keep in mind, that even though CrossFit is intimidating it truly is for people at all stages of their fitness journey. I love how the main aspect of CrossFit is to ensure that your movements are correct, in aims to limit injuries.”

“I lived in the area for several years while in Pittsburgh and went here pretty consistently throughout. The gym was clean, well-maintained, reasonably-priced, and the staff were incredibly friendly--all 5 of my other housemates went as well and they would attest to this. You really could not ask for more from a family-owned & operated neighborhood gym, and if you are in Shadyside I would highly, highly recommend. They were also doing some pretty serious renovations/updates over the last year that I was there.”

“During our visit to see our family in The States we needed a gym for my family and I to workout during our stay.This gym has everything you need for a great workout, whether you’re into lifting weights, doing cardio or functional training all are covered. The gym is maintained well and it is very clean, which I find to be important.What truly makes this gym a great place is the owner. He was very welcoming when we came to check out the gym and told him we needed a place to workout at during our stay. He was there to see to our needs and gave us a tour around the gym.We’ve had a great experience working out at Fitness Werqs and will definitely be coming back on our next visit to The States.”
