Store was packed one cashier had to literally yell at an employee to get him to open up a second register. I love Aldis but this one in the Penn Hills Plaza is terrible. Mismanaged employees do not help customers and it's always a mess! I do my shopping at the one on Saltsburg Rd it's a million times better!

Aldi has fruit so good and tasty. I got cantaloupe and pineapple. They were cheaper and better than the ones I got at whole foods.

Same as others, especially the seniors in my high rise across the street! The 3rd time I went to this particular Aldi's and the Indian woman at the checkout was EXTREMELY RUDE!! if it wasn't for people like myself she wouldn't have a paycheck!! I was supposed to get $20 back in small, like I asked for and she refused to do it and she did have the small bills, and myself and people of color she wants to check our bags.. why!? And God help you if you ask for a price check she gets very annoyed!! Apparently this woman from another country doesn't know how to have respect for the people funding her paycheck! After our residents building meeting today 12 people "12" have decided To No Longer shop at the Penn Hills shopping center Aldi's, there's other Aldi's we can go to without being disrespected by a foreigner!! I keep posting publicly until she is no longer working there and just so everyone knows don't bother talking to management, they could care less about customer service!! What a shame that you can't ask for change or a price check without someone getting annoyed and then they try to embarrass people by checking their bags.. if you think I'm stealing manager or security stop me before I leave and check my bag, she's clearly a prejudice person... What nerve!! Maybe I'll gather up a bunch of people and protest outside the store ! Aldi's has become a place of BAD customer service for sure!!!

On Sunday May 5th, 2024 a foreign woman with black hair checked out my grocery order. The order came to $26.47. I gave her $40 in cash. Instead of giving me $13.53 back, she gave me $3.53 back. I told her she owed me $10. She called for the manager. He told her to go count her drawer. Then he checked on her. They came back out and told me that the drawer balanced. I know that I was NOT given the $10 back! Just because the drawer was balanced does not prove anything! That foreign woman either does not know how to count or stole my $10! This has NEVER happen to me before! The foreign lady and heavy set manager with glasses are very likely SCAMMERS!! They are very unprofessional and don't care about anyone but themselves.

If you've seen documentaries about budget grocery, you're probably getting a fair idea that the way the world works now isn't ideal for a lot of service crews, including PHC Aldi. At the end of the day, the people make the place: The management has always been as helpful as available, the staff are kind and real, and I've never had a problem finding help or finding something at the store. Good stuff.

I like going here before the big grocery stores. Because you can only find things at a more reasonable price. You just can't get everything.

ALDI has great prices. Also there store brand products are tasty and a good quality product. I discovered it's best to eat the fresh produce right away. They go bad pretty quickly
