I was at the Weis in Penargyl, PA at approx 7:30 - 8pm, to shop. I went to line 13 to checkout. and my receipts time stamp was 8:17pm. The light was on but no one was there. I waited 10 mins, maybe more. I was clearly looking for the cashier and finally spoke to a young women straight behind me doing some shelf work. I told her just what I wrote above. She said she would get somebody and went straight to the gathering of young girls/women horsing around by customer service. I had been watching them most of the time I waited and they saw me too but wouldn't come. I had a feeling one of them was my cashier. They left a cashier line unmanned with a customer waiting which they did know. They were periodically looking in my direction. They were acting more like school kids fooling around than workers in a service position at a job. Not good !! I generally like the mature cashiers. They are all polite and do a GOOD job so I would normally give 4 or 5 stars but not about tonight. These young girls are in the work field now and need to be more professional and dedicated than they demonstrated.

It’s a weis. They are a little expensive, and I’ve had experiences with rotten meat but they handled it well and let me get a refund. They accept EBT and WIC and have a free cookie card program for kids.

You people lied to me about my glasses the girl at front desk two weeks ago said she found them and would give to my grand son Eric Goffinet well that never happened now you say don’t now anything about that benign you people lied to me I never shop there again I will let other people know about this very on happy John Krebs

I RATELY put reviews unless it’s either extremely NICE or bad experience and boy this one was the most rude woman I ever had to deal with. This cashier was the rudest woman ever. Her name is Tammy, blonde skinny lady boy she was so belittling to me. I wanted to be rude to her so bad. I don’t know if she had an issue because I changed my mind over an item and I asked her not no put my bread with my v8 juice bottles but boy this set her off. I thought I heard her saying if I had a card instead of a cart, boy that was another one where she was just nasty !!! Not once was I rude to her for her to be so nasty !!! She need to be retrained or something because this is the first time that I had ever had an encounter or such at this store.

Must say that Weis has GREATLY IMPROVED in the past couple years. They are more competitive in their pricing and the service is now excellent. ps Their dairy is very good... esp. the non-fat Greek yogurt. It's the best!!
