Pick your storage unit wisely folks! I had moved all of my belongings from one dirty storage unit to another based off of the good reviews here on trusty Google. I wish I would’ve had a better experience. Everything was good up until recently, when I happen to stop in to my storage unit and noticed these black specs on my belongings. it was late in the evening, and couldn’t get a good luck, so I figured I would come back during the day when it was light outside. I’m glad that I did, because I happen to find mouse droppings all over my unit. When I went into speak to the an employee she had indicated to me that this has been an ongoing problem, however, did not offer any resolution. Only gave me a pamphlet for the insurance company and told me to make a claim. She also told me that if I didn’t pay for my January storage she would auction off all of my mice infested stuff. Obviously not giving me any time to safely handle, remove and disinfect any non-ruined items. The more I got upset about what I was supposed to do with the information she gave me, the more disgruntled she became. I asked her if there was management that I could speak to or if I posted a review on Google if someone on management team would contact me and she responded with the remark that she was
management. I hope this review helps someone else make a educated decision for their family.

I needed boxes, and was disappointed when staples didn’t have the size I needed. A friend recommended me to try Columbia Self Storage. I called before going, and the manager was very friendly, and gave me all the sizes and prices. I needed quite a few, and she confirmed she had enough, and got my order ready before I arrived! She also carried them to my car and helped me load them. She really was ready to go the extra mile even for small customers.

Jamie is great. She is very helpful and personable and gets you through the intake process with ease. Columbia has been very accommodating when I had to travel from another state to store items. They have a user-friendly online payment option with reminders and they keep you informed of any contract modifications.

The lady “Jamie” at the front counter is great, she ready to help with any questions or concerns you might have. Super friendly and helpful. Moving is hard enough, so having this caliber of person helping you with your storage and moving needs was such a great help.

I have been using Columbia storage center for years ion and off when I’ve most needed it . Jaimie especially has made every experience for me super amazing. She’s sweet and virtuous as a provider there. Great customer service and always very understanding
