This park was really wonderful. Sometime toward the end of summer state parks can look worn out. Not this place. It had large shady sites. We had a full hookup site. Restrooms were clean and sites well maintained. Ours was pretty level. Only yards from the lake. We rented a pontoon boat to fish one day & that boat was clean & in good working order. Helpful staff & nice camp store. Will definitely come again.

Most of the basic camping staples are available, including firewood, cookers for the campfire, propane exchange, and decorative stuff. Picnic tables nearby, and ice cream in a variety of flavors. Staff is friendly and helpful. Store is a bit crowded and runs on the pricy side since it's in the campground. There is a laundromat available at the store.

The staple for every kids during their camping adventure to ride to the store and sometimes 10, 15 times a day. They have most of the bases cover when it comes to camping supplies, if and when you might forget an item. The prices are reasonable for the convince factor of being on site. A walk to the store to get ice cream is always on the list. Fishing supplies are very useful including live bait. The group people working the store are always kind and courteous ever when you make mess, they offer to clean up after you with a smile.
