“Many years ago we would poke fun at my aunt (who is now 82, and looks way younger) for shopping at Chico's (she loved and still loves it). Who knew that 20-some years later, I too, would succumb to the Chico. I got a very nice blouse for $29 (Marked down from $39.50) from Maryellen who has worked there (at the Paoli location) for 14 years, is extremely patient and puts up with lots of picky older ladies. One lady even brought her little yappy dog into the store (cute dog - but please be quiet!!!). Definitely an older crowd but some nice and comfy casual wear.”

“This store in a sentence: how the upscale moneyed set looks like they're outdoorsy without actually being outdoorsy. Or: decor, gear and outfits for entertaining at the "cabin" in the Berkshires. Tucked into a shopping center off busy Lancaster Ave/ US -30 in Paoli sits Trove General Store. It's a beautifully merchandised, well laid out store featuring warm brown tones against cool gray, some "vintage" style accents, mix of clothing, decor and housewares. None of this is "general store" unless you've got a cozy 6 bedroom cabin or a chalet at Aspen. You want to look outdoorsy without being outdoorsy- catered clamping is roughing it. Everything is lovely, and $55 is a sale price for a shirt. Three melamine stacking trays in different sizes will run you $85. Spotted a thick book on how to go camping that will not help you go camping but will look great on a shelf or a side table. Expensive, tasteful, fun to visit. I am not their customer.”
