I cannot say enough positive things about my experience at Van Cleve.
Shelly was wonderful to work with. She took care to make sure she understood the vibe of our wedding day, as well as my style and preferences. She asked the right questions and selected dresses that I truly felt beautiful in during the appointment, and ultimately found THE dress for me. Having shopped at a few other bridal stores as well, this was by far the best experience, and I even returned to purchase my veil.
I chose to have my alterations done at Van Cleve as well, and Valentina was also wonderful to work with. The customer service from the time I booked my first appointment to the day I picked up my dress was incredible. I cannot recommend them enough!

First, I want to say that I had an amazing time selecting my dress in store. My sales associate listened to exactly what I wanted (I had been to 4 other stores before) and pulled the perfect dress. I was so in love with it.
The reason for the one-star rating is because when I opened my dress on the morning of my wedding, the extremely delicate mesh panel in the front had torn. Upon further inspection, the tear was because a bulky piece of cardboard with staples sticking out of it had been stuffed into the bust and snagged the mesh panel. Clearly this piece of cardboard was WAY TOO BIG for the dress and had raw edges and STAPLES sticking straight into the mesh panel. I don't understand why anyone at Van Cleve would prepare my dress like this.
My MOH called Van Cleve to ask what to do. I wasn't on the phone because I was nearly having a panic attack, but according to my MOH Van Cleve was rude and blamed us for the damage.
We tried taping the two pieces of torn mesh together onto my skin but that looked even worse. We ended up rushing the dress to a tailor who was thankfully open the morning of my wedding and she ended up cutting the mesh down to the rip.
All of this to say -- I had an extremely stressful wedding morning which could have 10000% been avoided if Van Cleve hadn't stuffed a huge piece of cardboard in my extremely delicate dress.
Brides beware -- don't let them stuff your dress with pointy cardboard that can rip your dress.

I went to Van Cleve on a friend's recommendation and am so happy I did. I had Shelly as my stylist and she could not have been more wonderful. Shelly was professional, personable, and knowledgeable about the dresses, and made both myself and my mom feel comfortable. I really appreciated that she took the time to sit down prior to our meeting to understand my style and personality. She was also not 'sales-y' and even encouraged me to go to my other appointment I had the following weekend to be 100% sure the dress I loved was the one I wanted (and it was)! I can't wait to wear my dress at my wedding and continue to work with Shelly and Van Cleve.

9/28/24 bride! Purchased my wedding dress, veil, and had my alterations done at Van Cleve. I worked with Shelly during this process and she was amazing. She really helped me to feel beautiful and I truly loved my dress the entire time. I had zero dress regret after buying my dress and I even stayed in my dress for the entire wedding. Did not switch into a second dress, that’s how beautiful I felt on my wedding day. I got so many compliments and I just wanted to write a review to say how thankful I am for Shelly. Thank you so much!!!!

A perfect day, a great experience at Van Cleve Bridal. I would highly recommend this location for many reasons. Their array of dresses, at various prices, sticking within your budget, while truly working with the bride to understand her preferences and dislikes, her style and personality. Shelly was incredible. So experienced, detailed, specific and asked all the right probing questions to the bride to make her feel special and her thoughts and decisions her own. Loved the whole day. The shop is incredible.

This bridal gown shopping experience was truly exceptional. The selection of gowns is vast, offering something for every bride's taste, and the interior of the store is absolutely stunning. Caroline was lovely, making the process smooth and enjoyable. She had me in and out of dresses in the blink of an eye, quickly understanding what I was looking for. The spacious room created a luxurious atmosphere that made the bride feel like a million bucks. A memorable experience!

They have a LARGE selection of high quality dresses and the shop is so pretty. I worked with Caroline who listened to what I needed, did not pressure me to buy a dress, and really helped me narrow down to what I was looking for. I am very indecisive and wanted to go to a bunch of shops to try on as many dresses as possible, but ended up coming back here for the "one." Definitely recommend!

I found my dream dress at Van Cleve all thanks to Caroline! It was my 3rd store and I was considering canceling because I thought I found the one at my 2nd stop. Caroline pushed me to consider a style I never would have without her and it ended up being exactly what I needed!! 10/10 recommend Van Cleve but more specifically Caroline!

I had the most wonderful experience shopping for my wedding dress! This was my first time ever trying dresses on and Caroline was so welcoming and picked out such beautiful options for me to try. Caroline knew exactly what I was looking for and found the dress I had always dreamed of!! The entire process was so easy and so much fun!

Had a wonderful, easy & very positive experience at Van Cleve. Shelly was wonderful! She was blunt (in a helpful & productive way) and was not pushy or "overselling" of any dresses. She has a great eye and picked dresses that really fit my sense of style. Would highly recommend Shelly & the team at Van Cleve!

I've been to many bridal appointments at other stores, and Shelly blew them all away! She was spot on with what I was going for, and was very thorough. She definitely knows what she is doing, and has been doing it forever. They had a large selection with things in every budget. Definitely reccomend!

I had the most incredible experience at Van Cleve! As soon as I made an appointment I was treated with excellent customer service. I worked with Erin and I can’t express how amazing she was! I went into the appointment not expecting to find my dress and Erin not only picked out my dream dress but was beyond exceptional throughout the entire process. I cannot recommend Van Cleve enough. Truly the best bridal shopping experience I could have asked for.

Just walking into the lobby of Van Cleve is magical and breath taking with their floral displays, and then you're greeted by extremely friendly consultants. Shelly was THE BEST! She texted me prior to my appointment to look through pictures of dress ideas that I had, and then through additional conversations and explorations at my appointment she completely saw my vision and found my dress! She pulled out some of my pinterest saved dresses, and she had an amazing system for the order of dresses she had me try on while working through the different stylistic features that I loved. Our analytical brains worked really well together. She totally understood me and helped my vision come true. She even searched for different sparkly fabrics to enhance my dress, which when we found the right one, the tears started, and I said yes to the dress! I can't wait to go back to explore the accessories more, and to look at the other bridal party dresses! Van Cleve and Shelly are incredible! My mom already has an appointment to work with Shelly again for her mother of the bride dress. Five star experience! Highly recommend! They have every dress imaginable, and they work with many price points!

I had the best wedding dress shopping experience at Van Cleve! Shelly was my stylist and I truly can’t say enough wonderful things about her. She immediately sat down with us to get to know me and my personality and was such a central part to me saying yes to the dress at Van Cleve. She eased all my concerns and it’s evident she is highly experienced. Not to mention she was a joy to be around. She even offered to help me locate a place to get my dress altered as I’m from out of state. They have a huge selection of dresses and I would 100% recommend Van Cleve, and that’s coming from someone who lives in Florida! (:

Our stylist Caroline was amazing!!! She knew my daughter's style to a tee (even if she wasn't sure at first). The 2nd dress she tried on was it (Caroline picked it, not us - completely not what my daughter asked for initially)! This was our first time looking, so we did go to a couple other appointments (canceled the rest), nothing else could compare to how this dress looked, felt, and most importantly made my daughter feel. This was a wonderful experience, and the attention and care my daughter felt from Caroline was off the charts! She respected our budget and us.
Dress ordered! Now the waiting begins.
Thank you again Caroline for the best experience we could have hoped for!
