Rude, snarky service. I was told to go to a different post office by the employee because I said the other locations have taped my boxes closed in the past.

I know we have a new mail person on our route, but I put my hold mail card in my box on Tuesday, April 13 along with a card for a friend. I don't go to my box on a daily basis because mostly its junk mail. Today Friday, April 15 I went out and both the hold mail card and the greeting card were still in the box. I propped them up as instructed and they were laying down so I know he must have seen them. So the birthday card I hand delivered and the hold card I just put in the public box on the corner and hopefully someone will pick it up tomorrow. I am starting my vacation tomorrow so I don't know if it will get held or not. My address is: Lois Kling, 523 W. Cedar St., Palmyra, Pa 17078. Vacation from: April 16, 2021 to May 3, 2021. This system is very poor because I can't find a place to fill out a card on this website. I'll look again but please address this issue.

Staff is always friendly and helpful, the problem is many expect immediate service and grump the whole time they wait in line. These gentlemen have always been great to me and are super friendly.

I wish I got his name at the post office today. He was a young kid. Not the first time I ran into him at the window. He is the most miserable unhappy person with absolutely NO people skills. I am delivering large boxes for the office that our mail carrier left. I am holding a big box with little boxes on top of that and he’s worried about holding his plastic shield in place even though my box won’t fit on the counter. And he’s trying to tell me I have to turn my box sideways when I have other boxes on top of it as he stands there and watches me and offers no help. Then tells me I have to take a box and put it over in the box container. Then proceeds to tell me that it was a UPS box not a post office office box! I Give him credit for going to work. But he should work in a ice box with no other people around him! If you can’t work with the public and speak then don’t work at the front counter at the post office. And our postmaster should recognize this as well. No wonder they wanted to close his post office a long time ago!

Had my first experience with the Palmyra Post Office today. Now most people only post reviews when they have something to complain about, but I felt it necessary to praise the guys in the post office that I dealt with today. I have been to a few post offices in my years, and my experience today topped them all. Both the window counter guy I talked to and then the postmaster guy I talked to were friendly, personable, and engaging. I felt as though they were truly interested in helping answer my questions. This is rare experience not only in life but also especially at post offices in general. Thank you!

The clerks at the post office are friendly. They definitely need more people working at the window.They also need more mail carriers there are times that we don’t get our mail until between 5 and 6 pm.
