I moved to PA last year. I normally file my own taxes but because of the move, I opted to get a professional to file them. ??♀️ I filed February 5th. Something told me to double check my return. It’s May 28th. The IRS is still processing my return? Why? The improper amount was claimed for Social Security tax. When I went through every page, I found so many errors. But it was too late, as I filed electronically. I’m baffled. When I called, no apology. Nothing. I’ll stick to doing my own.

Today my husband went to this location to get help filling out the new W4 form for 2020 for our jobs. When I called initially I did not get a call back for three days regarding pricing and whether or not they could help us with this form. When I did get a call back the woman on the phone did not seem to know who I was and asked if I was canceling my appointment on another day? I informed her my appointment was on a Tuesday not a Thursday and then she seemed to remember who I was. She also stated that she would "look up how to do the form so that she knew how to do it when we got there". Not inspiring much confidence there...Well when my husband went in today the woman was not wearing a mask even though they were sitting close together. She even found time to ask about his mask while he was trying to get answers from her. He then proceeded to tell me that they had to look up the forms on Google and they weren't even the right forms for this year! She didn't seem to know what she was doing at all and couldn't answer any of our questions with any confidence. Apparently a phone call was made to her boss who told us to file separately and not jointly as we have always done? Overall, it doesn't seem like this HR Block location knows how to fill out a basic form like a W4. I don't think I'd trust them filling out my regular taxes at this point.I hate leaving bad reviews, but this is very frustrating and it is your job to know how to fill out these forms if you're going to tell people on the phone that your company does them.
