Everything always seems to be cluttered or laying around. Store was actually on the empty side last time I went (few weeks ago). If they have a good sale on something, it can be worth it to stop by.

Gotta say my familys done with dollar general. Most of our friends also.. After the old heavy set lady with the horrible attitude started yelling at my two year old from several asiles away. Because he had a ball? Aren't the toys their for kids? So why would you yell at them for touching what dollar general stocks inside its stores specifically for kids to touch? She was like 60 yelling at a two year old? Then she didn't even have the respect to stick around. Right after this happened I went to try and talk to her but she had disappeared. I've filed a complaint with the corporate office and will never be back.

I went shopping with my 3 little ones along with my boyfriend. We went to try and find some outdoor toys for my kids ages 5 2 and 1. Everything was fine when we first got there but when we got to the toy section. My two year old son picked up a ball and slightly started to bounce it. While in the middle of trying to stop him ourselves we heard an employee scream from two isles over stop bouncing the ball. Which we acknowledged he did stop bouncing the ball. But with being a 2 year old he wanted to hold it and didn't quite understand so he bounced it again. The lady then continued to yell over from the other isle too stop bouncing the ball. My boyfriend then answered with we heard you we are dealing with it can you not tell at my two year old son who doesn't even understand why he is getting yelled at. He was very disappointed when we couldn't walk with the ball. The employee or manager didn't even come over to talk to us she just kept yelling from the other isle. We would have understood if she came over and nicely said something Instead of yelling at us from a different isle. We were so upset after we had to leave and if that is how they are going to treat costumers especially children then I don't think I will be returning.

I am very impressed by this store. Very clean, organized and they have a large variety of everything at very good prices. I live in Harrisburg but will make this dollar general one of my frequent shopping stores.

This particular Dollar General seemed cleaner than the last one I was in and it did seem more stocked than the last one as well. They are currently doing construction on the building next door but have a fenced pathway into the store. However, I bought the last 8gb micro SD card so you'll all have to buy the 16gb cards hahahaha suckers!!!

Every now and then you encounter an employee who does everything right. This Dollar General has a winner named Ross. In a desperate last minute search for a lunch box/cooler for my granddaughter he was working when I walked in. I saw him both stocking shelves and manning the register. As if he didn’t have enough to do, I add to his work overload by asking if he has any idea where I might find this item in the store. He stops what he’s doing and takes a walk around and finds the exact isle I need to be in. There is one small lunchbox/cooler on the shelf and he says he thinks it should work fine for a child. I take it to the register only to find out this final cooler has no tag on it. Back he goes to make sure I get the fair and correct price. This young man has mastered a lost art ... the art of great customer service. Thank you Ross for your help and thank you Dollar General for hiring such a service oriented person.
