Americas Best Value Palmyra:
We are budget travelers and don’t care for updated decor, as long as the room is clean. Our king size bed room for 2 people is small with dated furnishings, but we are ok with it. The fridge’s door is half falling off the body so every time we opened and closed the door, it dragged along the carpet. The little freezer’s door has also gone missing. The staff at the office was friendly and helpful. We told him we declined housekeeping for our 3-day stay because of Covid and he seemed grateful for that. He told me they were leaving a gap of time between guests due to Covid. Fast forward to our last day of stay. I did not think we would need the room beyond their 11am check out time so I did not inquire with the office. It took longer to pack than I thought and we were still packing by 11am. We got a call shortly after 11am and we told them we were packing and leaving very shortly. The phone ran again in about 10min and the same friendly man told me we have 1 minute, or else he will charge my card! I grabbed everything I could within the next 60 seconds and proceeded to exit the room. By then, the same man and another person were standing at the threshold to intimate us to leave the premises.
Could have been 3 stars if we were not intimated during our check-out

The staff was nice, the rooms were very clean, the pool was amazing. The breakfast was also very nice. For the price I wasn’t expecting somewhere so clean and nice. You can tell the owners/workers care about the hotel

This was a great value. The room was clean and met our needs perfectly for a quick two-day trip. The staff was very friendly.

It is not a fancy chain,but it's quiet, clean, fast wifi, very nice owners, nice pool,great location, and very comfortable. Currently staying here as a return customer always my go yo when I'm in the Hershey area!!

The location was not as ideal as i would have preferred. Going forward I will spend a little extra for convenience of being closer to the main road and stores, aside from that the Owner and employees were exceptionally friendly and the lot kept very clean. I was in/out most of the day so all I really needed was a bed and AC.

Rooms: Had just what we needed. Microwave, fridge, comfortable bed and strong shower.

We stayed here for a few days during a sports tournament and trip to Hersheypark. This motel was perfect for our needs – a spacious room, a nice outdoor pool and a decent little breakfast for a decent price. The motel was located close to the fields and also not too far away from the park. We will be back again!

So friendly! SO CLEAN! Plenty of towels and pillows. The bathroom was also a nice size with shampoo, soap and hair dryer provided (Another reviewer commented on broken hair dryer, but my 15 year old daughter didn't understand how it worked either - BUT the one in our room worked fine). There was a perfect table for 2 for eating. The microwave worked great and the mini fridge was a nice size WITH a freezer that fit 3 of my cold packs for travel. The room was spacious and cool and the bed was comfortable. The carpet and decor were a little dated and that is honestly the worst thing I can say about the place. No odors and no evidence of pets or smoking. I HATE hotels that allow pets as we have allergies and most places are never clean enough that we don't have problems, yet we had none here. We are also lifelong non-smokers. The TV and Wi-Fi worked well. They offered a take along breakfast with DIY waffles (and all the fixins), eggs, 2 choices for cereal, bread and a toaster, bananas, oatmeal, coffee and apple juice.
YOU CANNOT DO BETTER AT THIS PRICE!!!!
We took an overnight trip to Hersheypark and we basically just needed a place to sleep. I and my teenage kids felt safe and comfortable here. This motel was in a great location with a convenience store less than a football field away and a grocery store about 2-3 miles away. A cute ice cream and pizza shop about a block away and a Dunkin about a half mile in the other direction. It was a 12 minute drive to Hersheypark at 5:00 pm and for 2 minutes of that I was already on the premises. I will without a doubt stay here again! And I have to reiterate, the staff was so kind! I love feeling like we're patronizing the business of a family who cares about their guests and I honestly got the feeling at this motel.
I will also note, I almost NEVER give 5 stars, but I really was wowed here.

This is the second time I have stayed here….i love staying at this hotel the workers and everyone are so friendly and kind…everything is so clean and well kept…the kids enjoyed the pool which is also very nice…we love the area of the hotel…..they are amazing at accommodating you with your needs….they sure make u feel like u are at home instead of a hotel…..my family and I will be back many more times we loved it there thank you again for your amazing service

Very nice place! It felt like home. Rooms were nice, they were clean and well furnished. Hey, it wasn't the Plaza Suite, but we didn't take a vacation to spend all day in our hotel room. It met or exceeded our needs in every way, and we will definitely stay here again. Truly a "best value"

This was a great place to stay. We had a wonderful time. It was only about 5 minutes from a ton of attractions! Tanger outlet, Hershey park! Clean, friendly and great services. Breakfast was good and was perfect and affordable!
