Gave up and gave this place a call when I had a vacation coming and strohls got me in asap and got my car all fixed and ready for my trip ! I have to go again soon and I wouldn’t go anywhere else. Told my friend and she took her van to get fixed here and fair prices good work !

Read the lengthy review ahead of this one....without using expletives, guy did the same "bait and switch" game.....quoted one price, began work on restoration of car, then tried to get more money stating he under quoted the work. I tower my car out of there! Best decision I made, found out the "work" he did was shoddy and hazardous! STAY AWAY!

I will take my car to get body work here anytime. Mr. Strohl goes way beyond to help his customers. And his work is impeccable. Reasonable prices! I will suggest him over anybody else.

Brought my caprice here years ago. He quoted me a price. A week into him beginning sanding my car he stated that he under quoted me stating " Do you know how big this car is". Not wanting to have a bad paint job I paid the extra money. The f****** guy got the key stuck in my ignition, so he f****** broke it. My car started without the key for months after that. He never f****** repaired it or appoigized. My car was an old police car with lights. He took them off and told me they broke while taking them off. He never filled the hole left from the police antenna which I asked him to do so the roof leaked. After a month of "work" car came out like shit..there was orange peel all over and come to find after taking down the headliner this f****** guy just straight pained over the rust I paid him to sand blast on the roof. The clear coat on the hood litterally f****** came off in the car wash weeks later, and then what really pissed me off is I started having the car repainted again...i found that the hood roof and trunk still had the old rusty blue paint underneath. F****** guy literally used the old rusty paint job as a base, used like walmart primer, then just painted the car. The deeper I dug I was more pissed. All in all horrible service just stay away. Dont know how he is in bussiness.

This is response from the owner of Strohl's Auto Body to Darren (detective from Nj). Darren called me several times to restore a 1967 Chevrolet Camero. He stopped by the shop without the car to look at and nailed me down to a estimate on phase 1 for repairs. He supplied all the parts. I included changing 2 quarter panels, and to repair the section to the trunk floor. He conned and lied to me. When I got the car to repair he had a complete trunk floor, floor extensions, quarter panels, inner quarter panels, back panel and valance panels to replace. This was a convertible which is much more involved . I had to remove and reinstall support panels for the roof lift. I sand blasted the panels and rear frame and suspension and primed them, which were not included in the original estimate. I have pictures to document everything. I accepted with much talking, because phase 2 was given an estimate. Which I could see had to be done. Darren cried about the money and said he will take the car out to the motor shop. I loaded all the parts into the car and told Darren to take the car. I'm finished with you. Darren lied to me and conned me and most of all he's a coward to use this platform to try and discredit a hardworking businessman. Darren did this to several other businesses. Other businesses beware of Darren the detective from NJ. I'm not trying to escalate his review I just want the truth to be known.

The owner and sole operator is Larry Strohl. He tried the old"bait and switch" pricing with me on a car restoration project, quoted one price in writing but then increased the price on me claiming more labor hours were needed.
When he realized he couldn't swindle me, he no longer wanted to complete the restoration.
The guy was paid in full for the work he performed but did unsatisfactory work. The owner is unprofessional, I would not refer or recommend, in fact, stay away!

Very unfriendly and non helpful service from the woman who helps run this shop, along with the husband. My car died on my way home from Blue Mountain Ski resort, they ended up with my vehicle and charged me an outrageous amount to release my vehicle from storage, despite the fact there was a snowstorm preventing immediate pickup and I was a student paying for the amount in full. Don't do service with these people. It is an experience and debacle you don't want to endure.
