I am a very frustrated person who lives in palm. There are times that I don’t get my mail delivered for 2 to 3 days at a time. Ow this week I haven’t gotten mail since Monday. I know penndot plowed my box in but the mail carrier could put in just a little effort to deliver my mail. I’m not happy and will be contacting the post master general about this.

Most amazing small town post office ever, you won't find better. From the truly incredible mail lady, to the women (and man) at the post office, this small and personable office is exactly what you know and love about small towns.

I love my local post office! Gail is fantastic, she is always pleasant and super helpful, she's absolutely fantastic. I'm here a lot, just down the street you won't be greeted like this and there's no personal service, drive the mile go see Gail and see how it should be done. The post office is lucky to have this woman.

This is the closest Post Office to where Suzi and LeighAnne live. I didn't go in, I waited in the car while LeighAnne went in and got a money order for her mother.

I think even one star would be generous! My house recently sold and I was in between places to live for 3 weeks. I asked them to hold my mail for the standard one month length of time that they allow. They lost at least week's worth of mail, they sent my husband's pension papers (he had recently died two weeks before selling our house, life insurance papers, and now even his death certificates are lost. I did go back before the one month was done to have my mail forwarded. It's not like they had it over that 30 day deadline. I thought I was done dealing with this post off and now I have to somehow track down my husband's death certificates that I paid for. The ones running this post office are truly dead wood and an embarrassment to their organization.

It is here that I continue to witness the smallest amount of power I've ever seen go to one's head. I've long accepted that gone are the days where your local post office worker smiles and welcomes you by name. This motley crew of p.o. management, however, almost seems as though they're being paid to keep customers away. If they bother acknowledging you when you walk through the door, you're treated as though you're rudely interrupting something terribly important. I recently asked for permission to collect an Express package on the 6th day when they have a policy to return to sender on the 5th. I should mention that 1) my local post office, which is about a mile from this one, BURNED DOWN a few days prior, 2) there was a blizzard on the 5th day, and 3) their hours are 9:45 -12 and then 1-4:45, i.e. incredibly inconvenient for anyone who works normal hours. I've been a forced customer for 15 years at this point and have never had an incident or words with anyone there. But they flatly refused to hold it until the 6th day, knowing that 2 of the 3 reasons I had to wait until day 6 were their own fault (I won't blame them for the blizzard...my car couldn't get through the snow.) When I sent "a representative" to pick it up on my behalf - as they suggested - they actually refused to hand it over to him and insisted I personally collect it. Fortunately, this representative was a retired postmaster, and he had their number. Had these two not been so nasty about it, it wouldn't have left such a bad taste in my mouth. Unfortunately, this isn't big news. Ask anyone in the area, and they'll say the same thing. I guess at least for now, we're forced to play the cards we're dealt.
