Fast and efficient especially since I was there with my best friend whom we feared was having a heart attack. Very polite and courtesy. Was impressed with the sense of urgency felt by the nursing and doctor staff.

Went in yesterday . Was seen promptly. Addressed my concerns and was given nothing but professional and polite input from Dr.Jill Polancyzk and the nursing team at this facility. I hate the hospital and no one wants to come , but I am thankful for St. Luke’s and their medical team for attending to me yesterday .

The ER Drs are lazy and disrespectful.

A family member had what turned out to be a minor issue (seemed possibly major initially) treated quickly and kindly at the ER. Every person we encountered was professional, yet warm. Could not ask for a better experience in a medical setting. Everything was clean and orderly, and everyone there gave "good vibes." From our experience, we're fortunate to have this hospital in our area. Thank you Geisinger St. Luke's!

I had gone to the hospital for a stroke and most of the nursing staff was very inconsiderate. I had one nurse that didn’t know what she was doing took my blood and was forcing the needle when it wasn’t getting anything till it popped my vein. Then says “oops” with a slight giggle an had a smirk on her face as she went for another one that wasn’t even there. She then had to be told to get somebody else a that nurse shot a vile of saline in my iv all at once and no other nurse had done it they always made sure to do a small bit at a time. I had talked to the nursing supervisor Amanda and she had acted like we were the issue. And I got no remorse for what I was there for.

Worst Hospital No compassion or kindness from any of the staff. The Supervisor Amanda was super aggressive when she spoke. She had no compassion when I made a serious complaint of how the nurses were treating the patient. She then blew off the complaint an interrogated everything the rest of the day. The one Nurse was named Jocelyn and there were quite a few others that had no place being in the healthcare field. The one didn’t even know what she was doing for the simplest things like taking blood. Was forcing the needle into veins that aren’t there but then found it amusing along with her horrible attitude. The Nurse after had to show her what she was doing wrong but then proceeded to shoot the saline all in one go after she was done. Go at your own will but I would not recommend coming from someone who is in the healthcare themselves. These people made the stay upsetting and stressful the entire time. It is a shame there is no good hospitals in the area that could be trusted.

Terrific facility. I actually enjoy my visits here - if you can say this about a hospital, it’s definitely a keeper. It’s silly to drive to Reading with this place located just over the hill and being far less crowded.

Walked in with breathing issues. They took me right in. Food is good. Staff is courteous. Cat scans suck.

This is the worst hospital that I have ever been to. Nurses give wrong information and doctors are ok with wrong information so they treat the patient with the wrong treatments. If you ever get a nurse named Shelby your better off just leaving.

Took my husband w/exacerbated COPD, he could not breath or walk he was so weak--( O2 level at 47---- normal is 90 up) very good admission exp., went direct to rm., 2 nurses attending him, neither introduced themselves-- Dr. came in no name again --xray---tech said back w/ results in 5 min.--1hr. later Dr. again same guy no name describes condition as Exacerbated COPD gave us med info & inform scripts sent to our pharmacy of choice, which is now closed. Had to ask for 1 dose of antibiotic for the night. Nurse Jessica (I saw her tag) came in he's discharged --- he cannot walk--cannot even get himself up to sit. I get the car , she brings him in wheelchair--to the car door, waits for me to get out & open the door, then watched my husband struggle to get in the car (I am not able to life) she never touched him. After much difficulty he was in --she turned said take care & Jessica was gone!!

Here now for my husbands appendicitis. The worst experience. He’s been admitted since 11pm and is still waiting to even have a time for the surgery because the will just “fit him in” when they can. Also said they don’t even take them out anymore or try not to and the example they used was a 80 year old with heart problems. My husband is 29. Pretty sure we’re just waiting around for it to burst. Please go elsewhere and find decent care. I suggest Hershey.Update!!!! he’s been here for 12 hours with appendicitis and not even a surgery time. Has had symptoms since Sunday morning.

Horribly incompetent dr! My daughter went there . She is 24 and has been having blurred vision, migraines, neck pain.. eye migraines and even a odd sensation in her ear. She went to the hospital to find out whAts going on and dr anthony hulupa did literally nothing. My daughter was on ft with me as she was alone and scared of whats going on. The urine she provided sat on the counter and was never collected. Blood work was ordered however the dr must have forgotten as he was discharging her she wanted to know her lab results and he said “they did blood work?” Then proceeded to tell her he didnt need to look at it she is fine and healthy. She asked to please get a mri and was refused and sent home . Now she will have to wait hours to get seen again somewhere else. They couldnt even look at her labs!!!! He told her if she had a blot clot she “wouldnt be talking to him right now” 2 ppl close to us just had blood clots and had surgery to remove them. One person had no symptoms and found out due to a mri for another reason. So i ask , what is this dr talking about? He simply didnt care to be thorough and do his job . Because she is young he over looked her and blew her off and downright lied to her or just in not educated in his own field…. We tried to call the er to get some help and that got us nowhere as well. This hospital needs to seriously evaluate staff and adjust things because this was completely unacceptable!
