My friend and I attended Oktoberfest this past September in Munich and we worried about finding outfits that we both liked while abroad, so we took the drive up to Oley from Philadelphia to be able to try on dirndls before our departure. The two ladies that were working were amazingly helpful in helping us find the right size, teaching us how to put them on and tie the aprons correctly-- I'm so glad that we did this at home and we're actually able to enjoy our experience versus being rushed at the festival. My friends dirndl needed small alterations and they were able to help with that as well, which was fantastic. We got so many compliments on our dirndls while in Munich, and some people even mistook us for Germans because our dresses were authentic versus something from Amazon. The dirndls were so beautiful and wonderfully made that you really didn't want to take them off because they were so pretty. I have recommended Ernst Licht to all of my PA and NJ friends within driving distance and also posted them in a couple travel groups where ladies are looking for authentic German attire to wear to local and international festivals.

What a fantastic find! Endless search for the hat I needed, led me to this store. I was able to order online very easily. It turned out the size I ordered was no longer in stock, but Megan reached out quickly and we agreed to try one size down. It was perfect! I so appreciate a place that takes the time to care for a customer, even when they don't physically walk in your store. Very nice quality, not cheaply thrown together. Highly Recommend! Extremely considerate and kind folks.I needed a new shirt for my lederhosen. they had a gorgeous one embroidered with edelweiss so i picked it up... then I decided to pick up lederhosen for my son. They saw my mens shirt and kids lederhosen on my order so they called to ensure it wasnt a mistake when any other company would have said "not my problem" I am very grateful for your store Ernst Licht. Thank you.
