“This past August we had to say goodbye to our cat Styx, which was extremely difficult for me. Dr. Jan and the staff were so kind and caring throughout the whole thing. Dr. Jan was even crying with me. They stamped his paw print in a card for me, and gave me a section of his fur and a whisker that I wanted. They also sent a sympathy card in the mail with a little note and a bunch of the staff’s signatures. I appreciate them so so much. We take our other pets here as well and I would tell anyone looking for a vet or to switch vets to come here.”

“Took neighbor there with her beloved cat. He had to be put down the staff let my friend stay with him as long as she needed. The nurse shaved lot of fur off of him and placed in a clear like Christmas ball and gave to her. Two weeks later I went back without my friends knowledge and brought his ashes home. I knew she couldn't do that last task for him. I handed her a small shopping bag and she hugged me. That small gesture on my part made her very happy . Now Rocco was home for Christmas with his Mom.”

“I have trusted Dr. Nelson with my puppy since I got him. I haven't stopped going to him since (almost 2 years old now). He's been a friendly guy who's always willing to work with me and Milo. He's super kind and I love that he allows me to sit in on his visits with my dog (except during peak covid). I always feel welcomed to call whenever I have a worry about my boy (he has frequent tummy problems). The lady at the front desk who usually answers my calls is super friendly and I love how helpful she is. I'm sad i'll have to be leaving this vet soon because I am moving, but he was a great vet to have over the years i've had him.”

“My cat Pugsley very much enjoyed his visits here, even though seeing the dogs makes him irrationally angry. He liked visiting the birds to watch and occasionally yell at them. He doesn't get out much, clearly. He's a strictly indoor boy. Great selection of pet foods and toys. My cats went wild for the various freeze dried treats they carry so I made a point to always stop here for treats. The staff are so nice, even when Pugsley was aggressively grumpy one day and screamed at the cashier. I'm so sorry about my rude son. He really does enjoy his visits.”

“I am from the Binghamton, NY area. For the longest time I thought Cornell/ Colonial (both in Ithaca, NY) were our only options for surgical/ advanced pet care in our area. Then one day the skies opened up! My local vet referred us to V-REC (located in Clarks Summit, PA) and more importantly, to surgeon Dr. Danova. She is nothing short of incredible. Patient (we always have questions!), Compassionate (to both pet and pet parents), and 100% the best knowledge, skill set and advanced training of any Vet we've ever met. Wow! Just wow. My heartfelt advice to anyone reading this review is if your dog should need care beyond the scope of your family vet, CALL Dr. Danova immediately! And to anyone in the Binghamton area, remember Cornell and Clark Summit are about the same travel distance so choose the latter and, as an added bonus, you'll be spared the 4 month appt. wait time...”

“My first visit was yesterday. The Vet that I met was female. She was very nice, and thorough. She didn't insult me, or show disgust over my dog's overweight statue. She provided a way to help my boy to lose some weight, without judgement. The prices are very fair. The only thing that my dogs will have to get use to is 1. Other animals that visit this Vet office because her waiting room is small. Yes, having control of your pet is always necessary. 2. The exam table moves up from the floor and it jerks, and is loud. This process of movement /noise occurs while the dog stands on this exam table. It's kinda scary, but in time, I'm sure my dogs will get use to it. Otherwise, all else is good. I plan to take my babies back there.”
