“Excellent care my dog was very ill and old Dr Keith Dorton and Dr Kyle Dorton and Maria are very caring kind compassionate people, my tucker relieved Excellent care and tucker loved them, the day he was euthanized at 19 years.old, I never seen so much kindness and compassion from the entire staff and Kyle was the Vet who tended to him he was very gently and mourned right along with us, we were given privacy with Tucker before and after, I would highly recommend scranton animal hospital to anyone, prices are reasonable bit what matters to me and is the most important is there kindness and compassion.”
“I just had my cat Nyla taken for a procedure today. Currently she is a little shaken up scared but she is eating well. I need to thank from the bottom of my heart Dr. holly earyes. She is a gift from God and your facility needs to thank the heaven above that she is your main Dr. I was a nervous wreck knowing our baby was going for surgery but the expertise holly posses her care for animals..she truly is a gift. “I recently just had to take my golden I had since I was 20, I am now 34.. to Abington Veterinary Center to set him free to the rainbow bridge. I couldn't have been more comforted and pleased with how the staff was. The vet and gentleman who saw my Charlie were kind, comforting and I couldn't have been more grateful during one of the most difficult days of my life.

“First off, my dog, Susie, rated her first visit here a 10/10 and had 0 post vet anxiety. This place is worth the 35-minute drive for me. Honestly, I'd drive an hour or more. It's absolutely incredible; the reception area is spaced out and clean, the staff was welcoming and very knowledgeable, and it's actually affordable. I came from another vet that quoted me almost $1200 for spay and micro chipping, with the blood work being an extra $182. I got an estimate after my first visit last week, and it's less than half of that. I don't think I will ever go anywhere else!”
“This past August we had to say goodbye to our cat Styx, which was extremely difficult for me. Dr. Jan and the staff were so kind and caring throughout the whole thing. Dr. Jan was even crying with me. They stamped his paw print in a card for me, and gave me a section of his fur and a whisker that I wanted. They also sent a sympathy card in the mail with a little note and a bunch of the staff’s signatures. I appreciate them so so much. We take our other pets here as well and I would tell anyone looking for a vet or to switch vets to come here.”
“Dr. Nestor is simply the best. Although my dog isn’t too fond on coming here, as a matter of fact, he is kind of pissed right now at me for bringing him here, but I know they care and know what’s best.”

“Dr Manning and her staff are the best around. They were always so patient with my dogs and believe me they could be bold sometimes. I unfortunately had to put two dogs down with Dr Manning. One from old age and one from a very unexpected illness. Dr Manning and her staff were so patient and understanding from beginning to end both times. They gave me all the time I needed to grieve the loss of my best friends. I will always feel grateful for the love they showed during two of the worst days of my life, and the card they send afterwards was so thoghtful and sweet. I know we will eventually rescue another dog and I will never go anywhere else for his/her care.”
“Love this vet and her office people. You can tell their animal people. The care and gentleness with which they handle your pets. The questions they ask. She's also slightly cheaper than most vets. She is willing to give you a discount if you bring in 2 pets at the same time. Which is good because many pet owners have more than one. And any savings helps us keep our pets instead of having to turn them into a shelter for lack of funds to care for them. Photos are from when we lost a pet. This is all the things they give you to help you process your grief. They were also superbly kind in the office.”

“I really appreciated the sincerity and transparency from the staff here. They even texted me before my appt to show their concern for the situation and took us early as it was considered emergent. I loved that they had respect for life and soul of the stray cat that had a botched surgery to spay her at some other facility which ultimately killed her. RIP skinny bones ?❤️??”
“I have been going to Mid-Valley Veterinarian Hospital for over 40 years, and the number of dogs Dr. Mary has treated, saved, and saw on an emergency basis, is far beyond counting. “I take my miniature schnauzer minx to see Dr Dorman. She is very thorough. She came highly recommended from Village Pet. I’ve seen other doctors prior, but Dr Dorman doesn’t overcharge for every little thing. She truly cares about my dog and right now he’s going through something tough I know, and I’m confident that she will find a solution. My dog loves Dr Dorman. She’s very gentle with him. She’s very kind and very compassionate. She is probably the The best veterinarian I have ever had”
“My cat Pugsley very much enjoyed his visits here, even though seeing the dogs makes him irrationally angry. He liked visiting the birds to watch and occasionally yell at them. He doesn't get out much, clearly. He's a strictly indoor boy. Great selection of pet foods and toys. My cats went wild for the various freeze dried treats they carry so I made a point to always stop here for treats. The staff are so nice, even when Pugsley was aggressively grumpy one day and screamed at the cashier. I'm so sorry about my rude son. He really does enjoy his visits.”
