Buyers please beware when purchasing appliances. My husband and I bought a fridge and were promised free parts that were missing as part of the sale. We bought it in April, it’s now almost August no parts. The free parts we were promised if we bought the very pricey warranty were not free. That was actually the selling point. Again we were promised that if we purchased the warranty, the parts were free. No they are not. Very unprofessional, this employee is clearly either not trained or will say anything for a sale. This hinders my trust of ever buying anything like appliances from Lowe’s again. We asked multiple times and she reinstated that everything was good, and we’d have the parts. I trusted them because they seemed like a legitimate establishment and thought they would honor it but we got a phone call from them after months of waiting, which also had to go back into the store and show a receipt because they couldn’t find the sale linked to our account, odd… anyway, phone call in which the woman who sold it, Amy, said there was nothing she could do and that she tried everything but she cannot honor her words. This is unacceptable. I would not buy anything from Amy without a manager present. Now I have an overcrowded fridge with missing shelves. I deeply regret my purchase.

Went to millwork and waited. Someone finally came by and paged millwork and I waited longer then I ended up leaving. I guess I'll try going directly to Pella. The isles are a clutter mess as well

The staff is rude and belittles me every time I go there. They recently changed the way they process pick up orders. I walked up to the pick up area with my barcode for my online order ready and the employee commented in a sarcastic tone "what am I supposed to do with that". Terrible culture!

Today we bought a screen door. Fran in doors helped us. What an asset to the Lowe's company. She was very knowledgeable, extremely helpful and conscientious. My husband and I both said she was the nicest and most efficient employee we ever had the pleasure of working with. Thank you again Fran and Lowe's Oaks.

Terrible Service, Incompetent Staff, and Unreliable Inventory Management
I recently had a dreadful experience with Lowes that I feel compelled to share. I ordered two 60" X 80" inch French doors from the Lowes of Oaks store, despite the same doors being available at Home Depot, solely because Lowes promised an earlier delivery date. One of the employees assured us that one of the doors was readily available in-store and would be set aside until the second door arrived, so we could pick them both up together.
However, when we checked the order status two days later, we were shocked to find out that one of the doors that was supposedly in-store and set aside for us had been canceled without any notification. This completely disrupted our plans and forced us to reorder the entire purchase online, which pushed the due date for pick-up and caused us to incur additional costs with our contractor due to the delay.
When I visited the store to address this issue, all I received were excuses. The staff member who took the order failed to check the in-store inventory, which is not my fault. Furthermore, they claimed that my email was not entered into the system, which is again not my fault. When I inquired about who is responsible for checking in-store inventory and ensuring customer notifications, I was told it's the store employees' responsibility. However, their excuse was that they were under training. If the staff are not fully trained, why are they taking orders at the front desk?
Even the online customer care representatives acknowledged that this is a recurring issue with in-store employees. If you are making a small purchase where discounts matter, Lowes might suffice. But for larger orders, I strongly advise going to Home Depot. Lowes' employees seem clueless about their jobs, and all you'll get from them is a half-hearted apology, with no real effort to rectify the situation or compensate for the inconvenience. Avoid Lowes for anything more than minor purchases; their service is simply not worth the risk or hassle.

If ANYONE has the patience to deal with their HORRIBLE phone answering AI, best of luck. They demand information before transferring to real person then 2 rings, hang up. 3 X this store, after 1 x same at Pottstown, I went to Home Depot.
Nice job Lowe's lost

It's 32 degrees out. A long line at the outside garden area and the cash register girl has no clue what she is doing. So while we all freeze our buns off she has to call for help multiple times. Think about your customers please.

I only go here because it's close to my house. Service is bad, no one knows anything, ever. I don't even bother asking where something is, even if I find someone who's not hiding.
