A cool little chocolate shop in the heart of Oakmont. Great service, amazing selection, and a very satisfied customer. Definitely recommend this shop for anyone's sweet-tooth.

This store offers mostly fudges and chocolates but also some other treats such as gummies and Italian ice. During my visit, the employee spoke nicely to me and offered me free samples of his fudges. I purchased a few turtles and chunk of fudge. I thought that the prices were reasonable and that the turtles and fudge tasted good.

4.5 stars overall. Boulevard Sweet Shoppe sells mostly fudges and chocolates such as truffles, turtles, and chocolate-covered pretzels. Other products include gummies and Philadelphia Water Ice, which I believe is Italian ice.As soon as my husband and I entered the store, an employee kindly greeted us. He told us about his products, and he offered free samples of his fudges. I bought two products, and here are my reviews for them:Chocolate-caramel-pecan turtles - 4.5 stars - Four turtles weighed 1/4 pound and cost $8. I would prefer more chocolate and caramel and fewer pecans, but I thought that these turtles tasted good.Bourbon Cherry Chocolate fudge - 4.5 stars - This fudge cost $5 for 1/4 pound. I enjoyed the sweet flavors.I saw many other chocolates and other sweets that looked delicious, but I try to have a generally healthy diet, so I will wait to buy more sweets here until I am in the neighborhood again.

I was walking through the streets of Oakmont when I stumbled upon this little sweet shop. The man inside of the shop informed me about all of the different flavors of fudge and other sweet treats which were being sold. You also have the option to try out some samples before you buy. Although all the truffles and chocolates looked delicious, today, I decided to just try the penuche fudge, peanut butter chocolate fudge, and the chocolate covered popcorn.The penuche fudge was delicious, but also quite sweet (on the verge of being too sweet). When describing what the fudge tastes like, the shop owner said it is similar to a Werther's caramel. I agree; there is definitely a caramely taste. I tried a sample of the plain milk chocolate which was absolutely amazing. The triple chocolate fudge is also great and consists of white, dark, and milk chocolate.The next fudge I got was the peanut butter chocolate fudge. It is made with Belgian milk chocolate (all the chocolate they use is Belgian). The chocolate flavor is perfectly sweet. The peanut butter flavor is strong and creamy. The texture is on point in both of the fudges. And, the price is quite reasonable with a 1/4 pound costing $5.Finally, the chocolate covered popcorn was also great. A whole bag is just $3! The chocolate is by far the best part of this sweet treat. I believe it is the same high quality milk chocolate they use in their fudge. The popcorn itself was okay, but it was too buttery in my opinion.All in all, I will definitely return to the Boulevard Sweet Shoppe. The service is friendly, there is a great sweet selection, and the flavors are quite good. When it comes to Oakmont sweets: get your baked goods at the Oakmont Bakery, and stop by the Boulevard Sweet Shoppe for candies, fudge, bark, and other sweets.

I bought my husband's anniversary gift here( chocolate truffles) , among other chocolates. He loved all the assorted flavors: cabernet, blueberry, black forest, black raspberry, etc.The owner is a professional chocolatier who is very knowledgeable in his field and helpful in selecting what I wanted for my special occasion. I will be coming back.

Haven’t been in a candy shop for years. This place is excellent! Great selection. Tried the dark chocolate turtles- absolutely first rate. Going back for a sampling of fudges. There are at least a dozen flavors. Can’t wait! If you need a reason for a field trip go! There are several really good restaurants nearby for lunch or breakfast.

I love this shop! We moved to Oakmont about 6 months ago and just recently came across this gem of a store! The lady working the counter was very friendly and knowledgeable on all the product, and she took the time to give us a “tour” of all the selections. We will definitely return to purchase more. The candy is delicious and reasonably priced!
