A very nice floral shop in Oakmont, with much more than flowers! Stopped in for a bouquet and was taken great care of by the young man working. He made up a beautiful mixed bunch quickly. The flowers were fresh, and quite plentiful for the price! A terrific job and value!

I ordered a smaller version of a casket spray. They are extremely accommodating and made the needed adjustments based on size allowance. Received several compliments on how beautiful the flower presentation. Looking forward to working with this shop in the future.

This has been my go to flower shop for many years now, and I am finally leaving a review. I have ordered flowers for pickup and delivery with long and short notice and have even walked in to request bouquets on the spot. Always had excellent service and have always been happy with the results. They really deliver a consistent experience and quality with every arrangement I've purchased.I purchased this bouquet a full week ago and the flowers actually are now more full and vibrant than the day I ordered them. Could not be happier!Thanks!

I've called Bernie's twice from out of state to deliver flowers at the last minute. The person on the phone has been helpful, telling me what's available for the arrangements. Both times they've been able to fulfill my order and the recipient has been very happy.

Shopping small should be delightful but this business is highly unprofessional. Not only did the flower order not arrive (look I get it, mistakes happen), but whoever I spoke to on the phone (employee or owner) snapped at me when I followed up. I'll go back to ordering ProFlowers and 1-800 Flowers. Never had an issue with a huge conglomerate, but couldn't work with this local retailer sadly :(

Well giving another 3 for flowers that were purchased for me from somebody else. Same ole stuff 2 years later. The vase of flowers was not what they had ordered but at least this time they were delivered on time. The flowers were literally almost dead. I probably wont get 3 days out of them! The person that sent them also said it was smaller than she picked. I didn't ask what she paid for them, but I could guess they were more than $50 bucks. They do offer 3 sizes and I was supposed to get the medium vase, but it looks like to me it was the small arrangement. The arrangements at Sams club are cheaper and they last more than 2 weeks if you take care of them. These flowers, theres hardly any life left for them! She also used 1-800-flowers and they use the local florist. This is my 2nd review for this store. I basically had the same problem 2 years ago. Normally I would have tipped the delivery guy, but I think he was Bernie! He has delivered to me before. After covid, I am a pretty good tipper but this time I did not feel they should be compensated for something we didn't order. And besides it should have been the buyers responsibility to tip, but there is nothing on the invoice to add the tip. As soon as I saw the vase of flowers he was handing to me, I knew I wasn't going to tip them. He did briefly pause after handing me the vase, like he was waiting for the tip, but since I didn't know they were coming I was not prepared and didn't want to say "hey hold on, let me get some cash for you", it just didn't seem right! I am the same, I hardly ever bitch or write a bad review unless they really deserve it. I recommend getting your flowers elsewhere! Sorry Bernie but you really should be better with your arrangements. Just because you have been in business for a very long time, that doesn't mean to cheat and send crappy arrangements to your customers! You already have the great Oakmont Borough and 1-800-flowers behind you, sadly you are not using the resources correctly. In business, repeat customers is the key to making money! I dont see too many repeat business if you send dead flowers and you seem to also have problems filling the correct sizes with the correct advertised flowers. Good Luck!

I used this flower shop 3-4 times per year as they are close to my mothers work. They are super easy to work with and always deliver on time with beautiful arrangements.

If I could give this review ZERO stars I would! I went into the store yesterday and spoke with the owner about having a bouquet of blue carnations made. He brought out two different color blue sprays to show me that he had those available and what he would do and I placed the order to pick up today. Upon going to the store today to pick up my order, he blamed a truck not delivering the flowers to him even though he had the flowers yesterday and showed them to me in assured me that he would use those to make my bouquet. So I now don't have a specific item for the date I have tonight and the owner couldn't have cared less about it. He didn't offer any sort of option to try and make something else for me or anything. He basically just shook his head and turned around to walk away. Absolutely disappointing and I could not imagine this happening to a funeral client or a wedding client. Imagine showing up to your wedding to learn that your florist forgot to make your flowers. And then on top of it he just turned around and walked away from you. I can't imagine how this place has been in business for 60 years as he claims if they forget to make people's arrangements and don't offer any sort of help. Thank God I was able to go down the street to Oakmont Floral and Design where they saved the day and made me the most beautiful arrangement! I will never go to Bernie's or recommend Bernie's for any sort of floral needs to anyone. You would have better luck going to Giant eagle and making your own arrangement because Bernie will forget about making yours. Also that shop is absolutely dingy and dark and it took 5 minutes for someone to even come out and speak to me when I came in the first time. Do yourself a favor and go to Oakmont floral down the road a few doors! Their shop is beautiful and they have an awesome stock of items as well as friendly faces who will bend over backwards to help you! You will not find this type of service at Bernie's. Instead you will be forgotten about and then be left with nothing 2 hours before your event.

After being out of town, I received word of a family death. I needed to send flowers immediately to have them delivered on time. I went to Bernie's Flowers website as the funeral home was in Oakmont. The arrangement chosen far exceeded the photo and was delivered promptly. I have found my new florist!! Exceptional@@
