Paradise Paws in Steubenville Pike Pittsburgh, I have been taking my dog for grooming for almost 1.5 years now. Although they follow our instructions on how to groom our dogs, they are really over priced and also they charge additionally as well (if you leave your pet for almost 3 hours). They gave us an appointment at 8 AM, but while searching in google, it said they open at 8:30 AM only (And in Yelp, its 9 AM), so not really sure on when to go, we went in by 8:15 AM, and they were saying we were 15 minutes late, and their response was "Google was charging more to update the timing online". And they never responded to our calls also whether the time to drop our dog is 8 or 8:30 or 9. And while picking our dog by 1 PM (I usually pick by 3:30 PM), and they charged me 140$ for a haircut saying they are expecting us to pick by 11 AM (and apparently they had texted us saying our dog was ready to pick up, since they don't have a kennel available), and they charged 30$ extra for keeping our dog with them for 2 extra hours. Never again, I am going here. Not at all caring for a customer. Avoid!

If I could 0 star this I would. I have gone 3x over the last few years here. The groomers have never been friendly, however the last groomer I had was very aggressive with my small sweet Havanese dog. She was lunging at Cocoa trying to get a collar on her, Cocoa was petrified. She was scared to death of her. The girl kept saying "well she is going to have to get used to it if she wants to get groomed". I said she never reacted to the other 2 groomers the way she is to you. You should come gently & let her sniff you if she seems scared". Cocoa was SO scared of her! I got her collar on & haven't been there since. I figured when I did I would see who she was & get a different groomer. So here we are now almost 1 year later, I call to get her groomed & I asked the owner who the last girl was that saw Cocoa, I couldn't remember her name so I said "Is she a heavier set girl?" She put me on hold then hung up on me!! I tried calling multiple times thinking we had been "disconnected", no answer. I thought something might be wrong with my phone so I used another phone. They answered and said "we have decided not to take you back as a client because you FAT shamed our stylist." What??? Then hung up on me again! I had no other reference to her except that because all her other stylist are SKINNY. I never said anything rude or derogatory, it was a reference, just as the person of color, or the skinny girl etc. If all her stylist had been heavy set, and I said the SKINNY stylist am I SKINNY shaming her now?? Very unprofessional ,rude & insane way to handle this situation. Talk to someone to like an ADULT not like a middle school child.I will make sure every platform knows how they are & how this one stylist is treating scared dogs! And dogs are smart & Cocoa knew this woman wasn't nice.

We got a new puppy last year that needs bi-monthly grooming which we aren't used to. Paradise Paws was recommended to us and we honestly haven't looked back. Zoe doesn't seem to mind the process and looks and smells great when she is done.

I have been taking my mini golden doodle Sully here for about 2 years now. He loves his groomer Darienne! She is amazing with him and he always comes out looking great and super happy. I love the parking lot drop off and pickup is always so quick and easy. Could not recommend this business enough! :)

Super nice people work here. We took our newly adopted puppy there and they did a great job. The owner and the groomer were extremely kind.

Did an amazing job, been to a lot of groomers around pittsburgh and this is easily the best one. Followed all directions to a T, wasn’t expensive, and all around an easy experience.

I took my puppy here for her first grooming ever. The staff couldn't have been more helpful. She looks amazing!!!! I will be taking my pup here forever!!
