TERRIBLE. Just plain pathetic service. They lose prescriptions. They close "for lunch" (all 5-6 people working in the department) for 30 minutes, even with people waiting that have been standing in line for 20 minutes. They're rude. They dont do their job, which is all a customer wants. I would give them MINUS stars if there was any way possible. I would suggest finding another pharmacy in the area. My Mother is going to do exactly that. This is the THIRD time we have waiting in line for 30 minutes, gotten to the window and been told that 1.) The prescription wouldnt be ready for another 30 minutes even though they'd had the order for HOURS. 2.) This is the umpteenth time they have "lost" her prescriptions, and then called back an hour after getting home to say "they had them waiting for her". Just pathetic. Get your SH!T together CVS. Do your JOB. Stop treating customers like we HAVE to use you, because we DONT. There are at least TWO other pharmacies in this borough. Hartzell's Pharmacy, which is FAMILY OWNED and SO MUCH better at "doing their job". There's also Rite Aid on Main Street. One of them will be getting my Mother's FUTURE business, because I'm sure they'll take better care of her, and treat her like she's "NOT JUST CASH" that comes in.

Been going to CVS Northampton for over 20 years. In the past 2 or so years, customer service has gone into the toilet. Doc recently called in 2 Rx's for eye meds. 1 was filled, 1 wasn't. Called pharmacy a few days later and pharmacy clerk told me they never received the 2nd Rx (even though they were called in at same time). Called doctor office to resubmit to CVS...doc called me back and told me CVS lied to me and him. They actually did receive the script but it wasn't covered by insurance. Couldn't the girl on the phone just have told me that? It would have saved 2 days of waiting around. I guess she thinks people are just freakn' stupid. I feel sorry for this employee and I feel sorrier for the company that pays her a wage...

Extremely poor customer service at the pharmacy. After given notice my prescriptions were ready I went to pick up prescriptions and got in line at 1:10 with 2 people ahead of me. At 1:17 gave person my GoodRx card and was told first that would only save me $8.00 and the go to lunch at 1:30 so I would need to come back in 1-1/2-2 hours so they could re-bill! I mentioned when at Giant Pharmacy it takes them a few minutes to update to a Goodrx. What customer service let us inconvenience the customer so they do not need to be inconvenienced. I gave the information to the manager and he said we could see what happened and I told him this poor customer service has been happening for at least 2 years and now I have changed plans so I do not need to use them again!

If I could put a ZERO I would. The CVS in Northampton store hours are until 8pm. Unless they put a piece of paper on the door that says the store is closing at 6. My daughter knew the employees were still in there. She saw an employee come out at 605. My daughter explained that she just needed to pick up pictures for her great grandmothers funeral in the morning. The response Sorry we are closed. Terrible. I understand short staffing but customer service please.

If I could give this place a 0. I would. I picked up my medications and when I got home, there was one missing. I called and spoke with the pharmacist who told me they gave it to me and there was nothing they could do. He told me to double check my car. This was already done twice. The medication is for my bipolar disorder. This is not a medicine I can just go without bc there is nothing the pharmacist can do because knows he was dispensed out to me. Well low and behold my husband drove back to the pharmacy and the medication WAS in fact in their possession. The pharmacist said well I personally checked and it wasn't there so it's not my fault. I completely understand people make mistakes, but how about we treat each other like decent human beings and with some compassion. Not argumentative and condescending. I have been getting my scripts filled here for over 20 years, I REFUSE to ever return. Pharmacist told us we could take our business else where.

Stay away!! Hospital called Rx to CVS in Northampton, PA. Picked- up Rx; price seemed high Went home to verify with insurance carrier; was told CVS charged more than 15-times price Went back to CVS to question; woman (while eating) looked-up the transaction Was told the issue was incorrect birth-date in CVS computer CVS left me feeling problem was mine Now I am left with thoughts about how many more past charges have been incorrect If CVS cannot get financial transaction correct how do I believe they can Rx formulary correct I would not recommend this store -- not certain about CVS as a chain of stores

Their service is so-so. During peak hours the pick-up line at the pharmacy counter gets very long and moves pretty slowly. I've never been treated rudely by the associates though. I've watched them put up with a few aggravated customers and they handled the situations with courtesy. Not the best pharmacy I've ever been to but certainly not the worst.
