First and last time.
- This was over the phone -
So to begin I had to have 4 prescriptions sent there because unfortunately out of every cvs in pa i get to be one of the unlucky souls who got sacked with this one as their pharmacy. They refused to fill one of them even after speaking with my dr which tells me they are not only unprofessional but biased too depending on what the patient needs the medication for. So I had to move my prescription over 30 mins away.
- The story below is went I went in person -
when I went to pick up my inhaler they lied to my face and told me my insurance doesn’t cover it. I’ve had the same insurance for years, used cvs for years, and have used the same inhaler for YEARS. Now all of a sudden at THIS CVS it’s not covered ? Okay. After they told me about my inhaler I said I would be back for my Zyrtec IN THE MORNING . I go in the morning and they put it back so I had to wait for 30 mins just for them to fill something that was already filled not even 24 hours prior. Honestly thank you cvs cause now everytime im upset about taking that drive to WALGREENS im gonna think about how the gas is totally worth not being treated like a roach . ✌🏻
Judging by how many bad reviews this pharmacy has gotten over the years I’d say corporate is just as bad considering nothing was done to fix this issue I guess that pharmacy is the image/reputation they want for their business .

I had a pleasant experience at CVS Pharmacy, where the customer service truly stands out. The cashier and pharmacy staff are consistently friendly, courteous, and eager to assist. Their willingness to help creates a welcoming atmosphere, making CVS a commendable choice in the community.

I usually have no problems with the pharmacy, but today, for whatever reason, they refused to sell me a refill of my prescription. It wasn't covered by my insurance, which I knew and was prepared to pay for anyway. The pharmacist insisted that the prescription be run through the insurance and my doctor complete the prior authorization paperwork- even though we know it will be denied at which point they will probably not sell it to me anyway. If a doctor prescribes medication and the patient is willing to pay, why the run around? Meanwhile, unless I go elsewhere, I will be without meds for a few weeks- GREAT alternative- NOT. And they had it filled and ready to sell me- why did I have to go in to pick it up to be told they wouldn't sell it to me? What a waste of my time.

The pharmacist is rude, unprofessional and disrespectful which is little wonder why the cashiers are equally rude and unprofessional. The ability for a pharmacist to give a client a product without explaining the pros and cons of the product is UNACCEPTABLE - the products are shoved and asked if they have questions about a product they do not know or know how to take (if they can’t read). DO NOT USE THIS PHARMACY with time
when they are without business and closed they’ll understand.

This store is useless, supervisor called me back and said they are behind by hours and short staffed. Knowing it doesn’t take that long to bag a prescription up… be fr and stop being lazy thank you. Then says they won’t even transfer the prescription and didn’t have a reason. Tryna be reasonable I guess gets you nowhere, unprofessional over the phone as well.

Bethany at the pharmacy was tremendously helpful! She took extra time to help me with an insurance issue and saved me $140!

CVS has retained its core identity post covid and offers the same products and services that were available from day 1. With the exception of affordable prices! When is the ceiling going to be reached on everyday consumer goods that we all purchase regularly? With maxed out prices on snacks, chips, pretzels, candy and drinks in the 20 oz. size range, Hacking us nearly to poverty with the hugely inflated prices that really showed up overnight! So frustrating to see some prices on many of the things many of us have become so familiar with from many seasons of buying certain brands. We all have our favorites and pretty much have watched the prices gradually rising pre covid, as expected, to the timesls now, mid 2024! There was a certain time period when i must have been asleep at the switch I guess? Upon returning from being wherever i was....taken?...hmmm...I FIND PRICES THAT ARE TRULY SHOCKING! FOOD ITEMS ! A small bag of potato chips at any location you cant touch for less than $2.79 When did potato chips become worth way more than their own weight!! These little bags of chips were 50 cents in recent memory and i felt that was highway robbery as you know, 3/4 of the bag is filled with good old air. At $2.79 a bag now!! What has so improved in the quality of " chips " that, again, i must have slept thru that big announcement? NOTHING HAS IMPROVED IN ANY WAY IN THE POTATOES USED TO MAKE THE "Chips" or the packaging in any even slight way!!! Nor has the quantity of chips you get in that air bag increased at ALL!
Im just done right here and now!!! BECAUSE ITS TOO LUDICROUS TO GO ON ANY FURTHER ABOUT RIDICULOUSLY INFLATED PRICES ALL AROUND ALL OF US I MEAN REALLY, CAN SOMEONE THROW ME A BONE HERE? YIKES!!!...OH, CVS, Riigghht.. Can Someone, ANYONE please inform me what those 3 Red letters stand for, anyways? ... CVS. Is stil all right in my book. The exterior of nearly every CVS tells the story of the companies financial standings and at best it says to me, at least, buisness has been much better but we are hanging on one store, one location, at a time. 'Nuff said Edward'

Stopped in CVS Northampton to make a couple special pictures. I had the best retailer named Dikim that helped me. I had to make many different sizes of pictures, and had not a clue what to do. This young man was so polite and saved my day. There should be more retailers out there like him. Thank you again Dikim for your excellent service. Very satisfied customer Jill Taylor

8/10 times they will not pick up the phone.
8/ 10 they have told me my prescription is not there and then when I question it, they say, " oh I found it?", by looking it up on a different computer.
It's a hassle to receive my prescriptions and most cashiers seems checked OUT.
