The whole store is great, but I mostly go for the pharmacy. I hardly wait for my medications, but if i do, it's not for very long. Everyone is always kind and the pharmacists are always helpful and answer my many questions. I'm here so often, everyone already knows my name. Been to many pharmacies, this is by far my favorite one!

Employees are very nice, all though it was a little not fancy seeing a roach by the cart in the bathroom, even the girl in the backrooms and the warehouse was chillin' - tky

Totally rude staff at this pharmacy. My cat requires an asthma treatment using a human inhaler, and I made several attempts to fill her pricey prescription using a GoodRX coupon which they insisted I couldn't because she was a pet. I showed them the FAQ page on GoodRX that specifically said they honor pet prescriptions. I asked if they would at least check to see if it worked, so they tried the coupon and arrogantly handed it back to me and said it didn't. When I tried to understand why, they acted totally disgusted and said "it just doesn't." When I asked why they were speaking to me so abruptly, the pharmacist stepped in and explained that I needed a specific number from the vet on the prescription. What she didn't tell me was that all she had to do was call my vet to get that number. It was almost like they were determined to prove me wrong and taking pleasure in it. After feeling defeated and tired of the fight, I went to the Rite Aid on Broad St and the pharmacist there went above and beyond to help me communicate with my vet and get the required information so that I could use my coupon.

I have been coming to this Rite Aid for many, many years and still come to this location despite no longer living in the area and having several other pharmacies closer to where I live. Everyone that works here is friendly and welcoming and the store is always very clean and well stocked, but I have to give a big shoutout to the pharmacy team who is absolutely exceptional and the reason I continue to come back here. Paresh is an invaluable member of the team and has gone above and beyond in helping resolve several issues between my prescribers and insurance providers. The pharmacy staff really help to triage and manage very stressful and frustrating insurance situations and I feel very confident with their expertise and impressed by their patient-centric mindset. I can’t imagine going anywhere else.

I took my 5 year old to get his COVID shot at this Rite Aid because our pediatrician didn't have any shots available. I was extremally stressed at the thought of someone other than our own doctor giving my child his first dose. Turns out I had nothing to worry about because Dave was working. He was so quick and perfect my child didn't even realize he got the shot. We were all laughing afterwards. This was at 12:20 on 5/3. Dave, thank you. Rite Aid, please give Dave a raise.

I am in shock and absolutely APPALLED at the way I was treated by Kiona Mason, who works in the pharmacy. I have been taking a specific medication for a health condition for years. I have had this medication filled many times by Rite Aid in the past. The pharmacy that I have been using lately (not Rite Aid), was out of stock of my medication when I went to fill it. So, I called this Rite Aid location to see if they had it in stock, since I had successfully filled it at that location in the past. I wanted to have my script transfered there, if they did indeed have it. I was placed on a brief hold and then the call was answered by Kiona. As soon as I stated the name of my medication, Kiona began to give me an attitude and started asking personal questions about my health condition. I felt very uncomfortable, but explained to her why I am taking that medication, as it is the only thing that alleviates my health condition. She refused to fill it because "lately people are taking this medications for the wrong reasons". The entire time she had a very unfriendly tone in her voice. She never pulled up my file or asked my name once. If she did, she would have seen that this is a medication that I have been consistently taking for years. She would have also been able to see the prescribing doctor and where he is located. Instead, she hung up on me in the middle of my sentence. I have NEVER recieved such unprofessional treatment at a pharmacy. After my experience with Kiona, I called a different Rite Aid. They were happy to fill it for me without any issues. I am confused as to why I was treated so poorly at this location, strictly based on the type medication I am prescribed to. I feel very discriminated against. This situation was very inappropriate and represents Rite Aid pharmacy in a very poor light. I am waiting for the head pharmacist, Paresh Solanky, to return my call. Maybe she can provide some clarification as to why I was treated this way. I also hope she is able to explain what the protocol is when a returning customer requests to have a medication refilled.
