I booked an appointment for a boys clipper cut service. It took me to the option to choose a specific stylist. Her bio said "Brook a licensed cosmotologist with over 25 years of experience. She specializes in natural ethnic hair". So I chose this young woman, the latest availability she had was 1:30pm, I pulled my son from school an hour early because he really needed this service. Get to the salon and the stylist looked at my son and said she doesn't do little boys hair. The person who escorted him there calls me with this information. I call the salon and express my concerns, the First Lady who answered understood my frustration. The stylist who we booked with gets on the line and proceeds to tell me I should call before booking with someone online because they all provide different services. My issue is, JcPenney Salon is a huge company, if I book online and the system allows me to choose a service, I am under the impression that stylist does that service. Why would I need to book online and then call to confirm if the system got it right? she took all the honest off of the company/salon to be accountable for their system. I asked her if she had the ability to just wash and condition since a hair cut was not an option. She then proceeds to tell me that she wasn't even available at the time we booked because she already had a waiting customer. So not only did they allow me to book a service with someone who doesn't do male hair, they offered me a time slot that wasn't available. The customer service at this JcPenney salon was terrible. They offered me nothing in the way of a resolution and the embarrassment my son felt being told they don't do male hair even after I booked for a male hair cute is ridiculous. I'm beyond disappointed.

Carmen was my stylist. She cut my hair too. Very personable and professional. She was not afraid to work with my 4b hair. I'm scheduled for color next week. I've finally found my stylist. Thank you Carmen!

I won't shop there anymore. I bought currtains online. I changed my address in the app and made it the default address because I had moved. It was shipped to the old address anyway. I called immediately and they said they couldn't do anything until it had a tracking number. Two days later it had a tracking number but still couldn't do anything because it hadn't been picked up by UPS. They said they couldn't fix the address, that I had to go on the UPS app once they picked it up and pay the extra five dollars to change the address. I told them the mistake was on their end and that they should fix it but they said they don't do that anymore. I tried to cancel the order but they couldn't cancel because now it had a tracking number. I'm so frustrated. It's ridiculous, their customer service is terrible I don't know how they stay in business. So I bought curtains at at another store and will refuse this package.....

I went to this Penney's to look for a mother of the bride dress. The gown selection was less than impressive after all the amazing online designs I had seen. I tried a dress on that was glitter galore and ALL over the floor, my face, my hair. I love glitter but this was ridiculous. I have always loved Penney's for casual clothes, sweaters and wraps. I was devastated when JC Penney's closed its doors in KOP. Unfortunately this is the location I had to trek out to. The personnel seemed to be friendly and helpful. The dressing rooms were spacious and ample but fir some reason the dressing rooms close to the gowns were closed (of course). The bathrooms were putrid and disgusting. I couldn't breathe. I was torn between a 2-3 star review.

I bought ear rings at JC Penny and made the mistake of actually wearing them. One of them came off due to the faulty clasp so I took them back with the receipt. Could I exchange because of this? No,you wore them once. She then bent the clasp and said here fixed with a sour expression. I called corporate and Joann was suspose to help me but she was on break. The general manager came over and started saying I could not return. I showed him Joann's email He said he would return them but he disappeared and never came back. He obviously did not want to help me return them. Finally after standing a fairly long time a salesgirl came over and exchanged. I could have gotten my money back but I let them do the exchange. Rudest sales people I have ever met. How people can stay in business and be like this I don't know. At least I got the exchange but I wonder if these ear rings will be defective as well. If they are good bye JC Penny

JCPenney is awesome, I came here to shop many times growing up and I still shop here to this day! It is also my favorite department store in the Montgomery Mall (followed very closely by Sears). Growing up I got a lot of my baby pictures taken here and the pictures for my communion too. I got many clothes, shoes, and gifts here over the years as I enjoy the styles, brands and prices they have to offer. I even got my first flannel here in 2011 and that got me into my flannel phase! JCPenney is also a staple for my Mom and I every Black Friday for the sales and doorsbusters. Overall, it has great products, prices, employees, sales, deals and it is in a great mall in a convenient location, definitely a store I would recommend!

This review pertains to the Photo Center. What a joke. We arrived on time for our 12:30pm sitting and were told that they were running 20-25 minutes behind. It's now 75 minutes later and we're still waiting. Did no one think it would be a good idea to phone the customer and let them know this ahead of time? One of our children is autistic and I think this approach to customer service shows a complete lack of sensitivity. And how do you think our children look after waiting for over an hour? Definitely not "picture ready". So now we've wasted our time and money. Thanks JC Penny. Total fail.

Let me start by saying I am forever a "Jersey Girl" who was a teen in the 80's. With that said, I've been a long time JCP shopper. The JCP store I used to frequent was wonderful. It was well-stocked with quality merchandise and cashiers in every department. Fast forward to today's JCP, specifically the one in North Wales. JCP's brick and mortar stores are now in a sad state. I understand most people shop online, but sometimes I like to actually go to the physical store and/or see & touch the merchandise to make sure it's what I want. Sometimes websites don't accurately describe an item or show it's true color, etc. I visited here today (Saturday) and it was almost a ghost town. There were only two cashiers working the entire floor upstairs. If you need assistance, good luck in finding someone to help you. The merchandise is hit or miss, and items that were marked for clearance was just slopped and stacked together. I didn't bother trying to pick through it. I was there to pick up an online order. The customer service associate was very nice and doing the best she could given the fact that she was all by herself. I felt bad for her, but she was handling herself well. There were two people in line ahead of me. While I was waiting, I was glancing around at the other areas (kitchen items, mattresses, and window treatments) and there wasn't a single employee or customer. As I was leaving, I had to pass the bedding, bath and men's departments, and they, too were empty. I do love their curtains and bedding, but I have to order those things online because they do not carry the items I usually purchase in their stores. It's too bad that brick and mortar JCP's have gotten to this point.

This is JC Penny so what do you expect? Clothes, home goods, jewelry, shoes and makeup for average cost. This is an American staple of shopping and I am surprised that these stores are still around. They were Targets before there were targets. (Minus food shopping). My wife visits here from time to time to reload on her makeup needs. And like most men, I really don't buy anything from here. If I do it's out of necessity so the best tip I can give to the men looking through my review is my seating tips. My seating tip for this JC Penny is the shoe area. There are enough places to sit if your wife is taking a long time in the store. If you don't feel comfortable sitting in the shoe area then you can always sit at the benches that are inside the foyer of the store entrances. They are pretty comfortable and provides you with some fresh air and natural light as you sit and wait for your wife to finish her shopping. Since this location is situated in a mall you can always wait outside of the mall entrance of this store and watch the kids either scream their lungs out or hurl all over the place on the bouncing ride they have just off of the escalators. Oh yeah, the store itself is OK. It's JC Penny, what do you expect!

Came here on Christmas Eve, yes I was the obnoxious customer who opened the store at 7 AM. I was impressed with the fact that EVERY associate I encountered greeted me with a Good Morning. This review is more like 4.5 stars. I had some curtains that I didn't have the receipt for. They were too short for my windows. The sales associate was very patient when searching for a time frame on my credit card in an effort to find the original purchase. Although unsuccessful she was gracious and offered me a store credit for he current selling price which was 1/2 then what I know I paid. I'm ok with that due to the fact that when you move things get lost and you have to accept what you are given as a result. I'm deducting 1/2 a star due to a sensor being left on a item I purchased as a Christmas gift. I don't live close to this location and it was a headache to try to get someone to remove it. Thank goodness I work in retail. Other than that I had a great shopping experience and would definitely recommend and return!

I went there as a new client looking to get a hair cut and single process color. The stylist couldn't "find" a blond in the book that matches my hair color and then proceeded to tell me that the single process color only included just the roots. I left as I didn't feel comfortable having her doing my hair and she didn't even bother to apologize or try to get me to stay. I have had my hair colored professionally and this is the first time a stylist had to match my hair color up to a book. I will never go there again.
