I am the new maintenance guy that had been employed with Taylor's Motel since March 19, 2024 and I have remodeled all the rooms which now include flat screen wall mounted TV's, microwave's, fridge's, queen size beds, and expedited room service in addition all rooms are very clean and well kept.The owner Mike also took the initiative to evict all drug users, and problematic individuals. The hotel is so much nicer and peaceful and although it has overnight rooms it's well known for it's monthly stays and the neighbors are excellent. I can assure you Taylor's Motel has a zero tolerance for prostitution and /or drugs.
Rooms: Rooms are clean , remodeled, and comes with flat screen TV's wall mounted, fridges, microwave's and great room service
Safety: The hotel is well lit , with police patrol and management that walks the premier every hour
Walkability: Everything you need is in walking distance
Food and drinks: Dairy Queen next door open all year, and gas station across the street, and Dunkin donuts 3 doors up.
Noteworthy details: Great Management.

This place was ghetto 35 years ago. I can only imagine what it is like now. Why would you go there? And why would you even think of staying? Yuck. Run away from this and stay out of this area. It’s bad there.
Safety: Definitely not safe.

They have indoor and outdoor seating, very nice deck outback, very pleasant staff and great drinks also have pool tables, darts,food and good music!

I wouldn't even give them a star the onky reason why i did was the bar was nice and good food. But the room was the worst. I cant believe they're aloud to rent them it should be free. Stay at ur own risk.. No Wi-Fi old small TV no cable only 2 channel came on and no hot water it was luke warm pillows were flat the blanket shoulda been in the garbage cause of all the burn holes no lamp just over light the toilet seat was so nasty i was scared i was gonna catch something from it. I paid for whole night and didn't stay i left.. I would rather sleep under a bridge...

Place is so Smokey, the drinks are OK. Drugs everywhere if you are into that. The bartenders are cool as heck though. I would never stay here.

Taylor's motel is a great place to visit or stay , may places near and they have food play music and the bartenders and the staff are fantastic

Convenient close to Mckeesport and on route 30 reasonable price rooms quite after the bar closes
