Viewed their website for used cars, seen a reasonably priced one for $3995 with 100k miles. Went to their shop, to view the car. The worker there tells me how it was recently inspected, and had an oil change. Upon looking at the car, I noticed the mileage was up to 140k almost and there’s exterior damage to the vehicle along with new information that the timing belt was never changed and the employee was using the vehicle as his personal vehicle during this COVID-19 crisis which bumped the mileage up. I think it’s priced at $3995 on their website, so maybe with these few issues and concerns I’m noticing, maybe they would shave the price down a bit considering KBB and Edmunds has the same year, make and model under excellent condition with No problems or body damage priced at $3500. The salesman then ups the price on me to $4200, when their site clearly stated $3995, and wouldn’t budge at lowering the price at all. The salesman then mocks my intelligence and says to me “try to find a decent car around the same price”. 1 hour later I find there’s a place around Verona/ new Ken with the same car 2 years newer with recent inspection, Oil change, timing belt, no body damage for $3600. Long Island Auto wastes my time and their own by trying to rip me off. Anyone trying to purchase a used vehicle from this shop should watch out for them trying to scam people for more money because of their COVID-19 closure for months. Don’t buy from them! You will get ripped off on price.

Good experience in getting financed, although the "bank" chose my vehicle. Have had MANY problems with car after purchase. Needed 2 new tires, 2 ball joints, a new battery, a new brake switch, the horn fuel and temperature gauges are broken and both rear struts need replaced. Finally, the car died for good before my loan was up. Could not get messages returned for months after sale. Only received a pink slip as a record of sale-no contract or warranty paperwork. Inconsistent hours of operation. Not a member of the BBB either. If I could give ZERO stars, I would. Total crooks. I failed to mention that the old man that is apparently the owner is as rude and obnoxious as any business proprietor I've ever come across. Steer clear.
