Regrettably, Vangura cannot be recommended due to our unsatisfactory experience with their services. We approached Vangura to acquire a solid surface countertop and full backsplash for our mid-century kitchen renovation.
As a designer specializing in mid-century design, our home has been featured in renowned magazines such as Better Homes and Gardens and Atomic Ranch Magazine. However, we did not disclose this information to Vangura as we deemed it irrelevant. We aim to share this to provide potential clients with a detailed perspective of our experience.
The process at Vangura involves submitting a sketch, scheduling a meeting with a sales specialist, having an in-person discussion with the specialist, receiving a quotation, making a deposit, and then arranging for a technician to visit your kitchen for measurements.
The process proved to be quite protracted, necessitating multiple reminders to obtain the quotation, which was only provided after three weeks. Furthermore, we paid a deposit of $500, even though the initial quote indicated $250.
A technician arrived at our home to measure our kitchen for the solid surface countertop. Despite our excitement, the technician grumbled, complained, and appeared uncertain throughout the process, which took three hours. He lamented the challenges of measuring around our vintage stove and intercom system and seemed unsure, even after we shared the original owner's manual, which contained a diagram and measurements. We suspect that others might have received more professional treatment.
We communicated our concerns to the sales specialist via email, who disregarded our complaints and assured us that the measurements would be correct.
We sent several emails requesting a breakdown of the quote, but our sales specialist has yet to respond. Another individual eventually responded to our request. We later expressed confusion regarding the quotation and requested a new quote for a countertop only (without the backsplash) as it would be more budget-friendly. However, we received no response.
After making a $500 deposit, Vangura ceased all communication with us. We had to pursue alternative routes to complete our kitchen renovation within our timeline.
If you have a non-conventional aesthetic, particularly a vintage aesthetic, we advise you to steer clear of Vangura. You may be treated poorly, and your deposit may be withheld.

We had a superb experience with krystal and the staff. Had our kitchen redone and it’s exactly what we wanted. The showroom and factory is huge and has anything and everything you could want. They also have cooking classes, wine tasting and cooking classes for kids too. Such great place.

In a time where it so hard to find people who are professional and care about doing their job well, Ryan Ann was the epitome of professional. From my first call she truly cared what I needed and was beyond helpful. She was prompt to answer every question I had and just a pleasure to deal with. I would recommend Vangura to anyone if it means they get to have the positive experience I had. Well done Ryan!

We toured the facility and found a product we were very much interested in. Everything went wonderful that day and we were looking forward to getting further information to see if this could be a viable option for our kitchen remodel. We were promised quotes and further information after sending kitchen design and drawings, but after repeated calls and emails after not hearing back (and still being told each time they would send us information), we were given empty promises, excuses, and eventually blown off. Not sure the reason. But I would have much rather them told us no and the reason why instead of being dragged along and wasting our time.

Could not be happier with our Kitchen Countertops from Vangura. Huge thank you to our designer Karen Kase to our measurement and installation crew, and project manager DeLee Kitchen. I am a DIY for most things but I knew I had to trust this job to the professionals and Vangura is the best of the best!

New countertops in kitchen. Prompt and coordinated service for disconnecting plumbing, insulation of countertops and reconnection of plumbing. All workers courteous, worked neatly and cleaned up all debris. Most importantly they were all experienced and professional.

We purchased laminate countertops from Vangura. It took 3 attempts to get the sizing right. The first time our island was 9" to long.They took it back for a week and cut it almost 2" short. Third time was the charm. I had to wait for either someone to measure or deliver at my home 6 times for a window of several hours, each time. They offer no compensation for their errors and my wasted time. Definitely would recommend avoiding this company.

Got granite countertops that were 8000 dollars. They promised the seams would match up. Two seams did not match up. Installation was good but not happy with finished product. When we complained, they came back to our place and did nothing. The sink was in wrong position when installed. They said they would come back to fix. Never called or fixed. I would not recommend Vangura. If you get them, you will not be satisfied.

Although we did not end up moving forward with our quote, the experience was fantastic. I was extremely impressed with Karen- she identified slabs and fixtures simply by looking at them, was extremely patient, and was the best person to guide us through their expansive showroom and on-site facilities. The pricing was pretty in-line with everyone else, however, we ended up loving a stone elsewhere. I would absolutely come back for future projects and recommend working with Karen.
