This Petland is a cut above the rest! Unlike other Petland stores in the area, it truly feels like a pet store, offering a wide range of quality food, supplies, and adorable animals.
The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, making the shopping experience enjoyable. We were particularly impressed by their extensive selection of wet food and even found some cute sweaters for our furry friend.
While prices are comparable to big-box stores, the personalized service and knowledgeable staff make this Petland a much better choice.

Love this locally, family owned store. We go here for dog food but it's like a trip to a petting zoo for our little ones every time that we go. Employees are friendly and passionate about animals, pets and reptiles.

Went camping. Didn't want to take my 150 pound pitbull mastiff. I've boarded him here before. He usually comes home with a bloody mouth for whatever reason.
We drop him off, I forgot his shampoo and blankets (giant pitbull /mastiff needs his blankies) so I took them and the shampoo back like an hour later. I sent him with exactly enough allergy meds until pickup day also.
Pick him up July 7th. Didn't notice anything until we got home. . . . Now, keep in mind I've heard ownership hates pitbulls and I fully believe it now.
Picked the dog up, took him home, noticed under his vest/harness was completely broken out in hives. They must have left the vest on him the whole time, but allergy meds were also missed, so that probably didn't help. Also, they didn't use the medicated shampoo we sent with him and they used some store stuff.
Dog was completely broken out in hives, mouth bleeding. Pics with time stamps of the hives included here. Had to go to the vet and he was put on steroids and antibiotics. This dogs vet bills are always crazy due to his size.
I call petland. Guy isn't in. He calls me back. I miss the call. I call back and speak with a guy who said the owner left for the day and he will relay the message. I didn't get a call back after that. Please don't call me now, I'm over it, but not over it enough to not leave a review.
Also, upon arriving home, I realized they checked me out under someone else's account. I have a receipt for someone else. I have also attached a pic of this and blurred out as much of the address as I can but left enough to see it's 2 different people. I'm not sure if I over paid or under paid upon checkout. I'll just take the dog camping next time. His allergies would probably be less affected in the wilderness than they are here.

One of the only pet stores that will actually answer your questions sensibly. Seriously great staff and a wide variety of necessities for your pet parenting needs not to mention a great place to pet-network.

How do I even begin this review! They are one of the most caring and amazing pet stores I have seen lately. I got my Black Capped Conure Bowser from this location and he was so sweet and loved everyone. They interact with the pets and were very helpful when i came back to pick him out some new toys! I came back for a clipping of his nails and wings, they did amazing, bowser was more than happy to cooperate. You want a friendly, well raised bird this is the place to go! They really do care here and that is extremely hard to find anymore. Thank you guys for everything! <3

We went to get a few things for our hermit crabs today, I had no idea how much care they really needed until the girl in the reptile section was full of information that helped me out so much and got me everything we needed! Can’t wait to shop here again!

They went above and beyond to save our fish. We had ich and it got really bad at 8:30pm we called and asked what to do and they said we needed a water change with the medication. We live almost an hour away and the manager and one of the aquatic staff stayed after close to get us 20 gallons of water to save our fish. I couldn’t recommend this place enough all of the staff are friendly and actually knowledgeable about salt water fish which most pet stores are not and give wrong information but not at PetLand Norwin. Thank all of you!
