I changed from another vet about 2 years ago and am so happy I did. The whole team is so caring and Dr Luetke takes such good care of my pup and answers my (many) questions so that I understand follow up care.

My father has been taking his pets to Trooper Vet since 1973 so it was natural that I would take my dog there as well when I adopted her during the beginning of the pandemic. She turned out to have more stress/anxiety than I initially realized and is not a fan of the vet, but this staff- from the front desk staff to the techs and the doctors- have all worked hard with us to help her grow in her comfort at the vet. She still doesn't love it, but she has made such great gains and I thank Trooper Vet for their love for my girl to make sure she gets the best care possible!

Dr. Mia Puschak is.awesome! She was very patient and thorough when she examined our grand puppy Barkley. Dr. Puschak quickly recognized that Barkley was not happy to be at the vet let alone not feeling well. Dr. Puschak spoke calmly with all of us and eventually gained Barkley’s trust. The exam proceed very deliberately and without incident. We’re happy to report that all is well now. We are very impressed with Dr. Puschak. The diagnosis was spot on. We would highly recommend her and this establishment.

We are new to this area and we needed to find a new vet we were directed to Trooper Veterinary Hospital. As with any new healthcare provider we did not know what to expect. However, after talking with the receptionist to make the appointment we were hopeful for a good match. We could not be more pleased with Dr. Cleary and her staff. Everyone welcomed Tank (and us) and took time to make sure we were comfortable. Dr. Cleary took time to let Tank get to know her and treated him like he was her own pet. Dr. Cleary's exam was very thorough and she explained everything as she went through the exam. We took Tank in because we found a lump on his leg and we obviously concerned about how serious it was. Dr. Cleary, again, was very thorough in her explanation of what the lump could be and how to determine if it might be cancerous. She recommended taking things slow to determine what the lump was, which also was the least invasive and least expensive course of action. Through the years we have been very fortunate in finding vets that both our dogs and we liked and felt comfortable with. Finding Dr. Cleary has kept that streak going.

My dogs and I are Trooper clients since 1992. Blanka is our fourth dog they treat - the best place ever (OK tied with Metropolitan).

Called to say I was on the way in with an exotic emergency (rabbit) and she interrupted me saying “let me talk, the dr for exotics is on vacation and we don’t take emergencies” Their website clearly states they take emergencies walk ins. Then she proceeded to tell me the ONLY exotic vet is Radnor vet. Yet there is many others like exotic animal hospital of Philadelphia, creature comforts, hickory animal hospital.
I would never take my animals here after being spoken to the way this lady spoke to me. I give it one star because I wasn’t even able to make it in due to poor communication and horrible customer service.

Out to convince have been taking our dog here for 12 years. Have never really been happy, see different vet every time and I am always shocked at what is being charged.
I had to cancel my follow up appointment as I have a sick child at home. Mind you a 2nd follow up visit that would be 10 minutes and cost $56. The person answering their phone said we would be charged $86 on our next visit for canceling our appointment 30 minutes prior to the appointment. I didn't think my child would wake up sick this morning. I was told it's the policy.
Well, it's my policy to no longer come back, as the lack of customer service, compassion, and money grabs, just don't sit well with me any more.

We had the pleasure of visiting Trooper Vet Hospital recently for a sick guinea pig. After calling 10 places, we finally found someone who would treat exotic pets. From the moment I called until check out, I was very impressed. We were greeted with friendliness, compassion, and professionalism by the front desk (Judy and Kathie). Our little guy was treated by Dr. Alison St. John. Dr. St. John was empathetic, kind, and informative while examining our guinea. We left with an affordable treatment plan and extraordinary care. She was very thorough with her examination and explanation. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this practice to anyone with furry loved ones.
