That place ceased being a pawn shop about 15 years as go and became a check cashing joint. Every crack fiend in the area used that place as a stolen goods exchange. Until the cops got real time inventory updates. Then the store started loosing money bc the cops take 3/4 of what's brought in as stolen. I've bought a few guitars there. They have some stuff in the store but it's all stupid over priced like it's not meant to sell. The employees do nothing but talk on phone. Last week I stopped in and the guy behind the counter was blatantly negotiating a 2 oz meth deal all loud on his phone as nonchalanty as we would order a pizza. Norristown is a different beast, I know a lot of people down there but I'd trust none with knowing I had cash in my pocket. I feel more at ease walking through Kensington at midnight. That's enough wisdom to share for one day. Have a happy new year all.

I purchased a "Cartier Calibre" from this shop and was told that it was 100% authentic. It sat in my collection for a while, when I took it out to use it I noticed it stopped working. I took it to my jeweler and he informed me there is nothing to fix since its a fake. I PAID HIM $5000 for the watch and he wont even return my emails.I am contacting the FBI for him selling a fake watch and transporting over state lines and it was paid through electronic payment so it's a big can of worms. I will take all actions to get my money back from this individual. Please be aware of this pawn shop

I have done much business with them mostly on ebay and occasionally in person. You couldn't ask for friendlier people. They have a very active following on ebay so auction fever can happen but there are also great deals to be had. The items have always been as described and I have never had a problem. On ebay they are trabor_sales. They seem to have some odd items for a pawn shop so I have them saved as a favorite seller in my ebay preferences so I don't miss anything. .

When an item doesn't get high enough on their eBay auction page, they cancel the whole listing and relist it for a higher price even if there are commited bidders. They also reply with low educated responses, like they've never even seen the item before.

It's a pawn shop but you actually can't "pawn" only sell . As they do not do loans anymore. So maybe change name to we might buy your stuff. I dunno I've used them when desperate for bill money but cheltenham is by far a lot better. They are pretty good guys. They work with people unlike this place. So if you can take a drive somewhere else out your going to get way less and not able to get back.

Took down a Bose 123 system an onkyo receiver 600 new said worth 60-100 and a19" TV, wanted to trade all for two tvs selling for two hundred. No good. Won't be in business doing that going to best buy same small tv,$125 with ae warranty. Larger one has no tv stand. They look for stuff that's perfect to rip you off
