I found a couple of ok-priced items, but not the main objective of my trip (which they told me they had), and I have concerns about seriously false information they gave us, which would be really unfortunate for less-experienced DIY-ers. Called ahead looking for prehung fiberglass entry doors. They said yes they had a bunch. Upon arrival it took me 2 seconds to see there was not a single one in the store. Sales staff tried to tell me that 96" oversized fixed-panel Andersen stationary doors (effectively windows) were actual functional "doors" but it was a bizarre lie. Apart from the fact that these were aluminum-wrapped wood (not fiberglass), there clearly had been a mislabeling or a contractor boxed up reject items in the wrong box, because they were absolutely not doors! Doors may come without hardware (doorknob) holes drilled (although those are normally highest-end and an architectural-grade contractor will drill for specialty entry hardware), but prehung doors always have hinges (these were fixed in place with no hinges, and no room to add hinges because it was meant to be a fixed panel in a row of doors, to act as a window (a functional door would be slightly smaller so it had room to move on hinges). I took one look and said "that is not a door" while my husband listened to two members of the sales staff try to convince him it was a door. This is scary to me. It's one thing if these are volunteers who are ignorant to products in this industry, but to insist to a customer that a fixed panel window is a door, a $500 door, when it is absolutely NOT a door, is just fraud! They were trying to say that we had to get the panel out of the frame and then we'd see it was a door? Um no, then we'd have a ripped-apart fixed window panel, and trying to add hinges by cutting away the aluminum and also drilling through the panel for knobs, means destroying factory finish and seals that lead to leaks and rot and all the reasons why a fixed panel is not really a door. If anyone had bought one of these THREE $500ea framed panels, they'd end up having paid $500ea+tax, plus paid to transport it, and then end up possibly shattering the glass and harming themselves. This is just crazy to tell people a door is a window and INSIST after we both told them it was not a door, and why. My husband even tried to tell the second guy that the box may say "door" but it was open box and the label affixed to the glass of the "door" said it was a fixed-panel WINDOW. The guy was defensive and still insisted it was a door. Just crazy. The store was organized and there were some decent deals, nothing amazing, but it goes to a good cause, and I love to upcycle when possible. But I cannot in good conscience recommend this place to people because it is downright dangerous and fraudulent to not only misrepresent costly merch, but to repeatedly insist it's something it's completely not, is just wrong. So wrong.

Used to be able to find nice things at reasonable prices, but now I find myself in SHOCK at what they are asking for most items. Not what it used to be and a bit disappointing.

Hard to believe that this place doesn’t clearly list their requirements for what to donate. I wasted 90 minutes round trip only to find that I didn’t have enough tiles, my garden hose was not brand new and, geez, no, I’m not a contractor who can donate huge lots of items. This is nuts. Habitat ReStore used to be fantastic and truly provide used items for an affordable price. Jimmy Carter would probably be ashamed if he saw how his creation has become so all about the money.

I love this location, and they often have a nice selection of couches, side tables, and similar furniture. I've gotten many furniture pieces from here that I still have, years later. They also tend to have a lot of hardware, flooring supplies, and kitchen cabinets.

I stop in frequently because I have a business close by , and I always find something interesting , unique, or useful , and the price is always reasonable. The Manager Matt , Gail at checkout, Max in the back / loading dock, and Brenda , an expert on everything ( Max too ) always wear a smile and make me feel at home, it's a fun place to visit , always a worthwhile visit, And don't forget , it's good to help the community.

It's an okay place to go. Prices are all over the place. Over priced on most things but sometimes a good deal on others. It's like they are always looking to retail for the free stuff people donate. They should be pricing things to move quickly then they would have less of an issue with space. Nothing today but they have more stuff than they have room for. Their prices are about the same as retail. They have actually changed for the worst at least for me. The prices are high for may thinks, the person who is doing the pricing is trying to make lots of money on the free stuff they receive or they think they are a retail store. Bad move guys.

First off I have to say this is not the first time I've been here, but I was reluctant to go back because of my first experience!!! Black cashier lady is rude as ever she talks down to you while you're paying with your hard earned money on the overprice furniture that they have!!!!! This is not the first time that I felt this way coming into the store but this just justifies my first reaction!!! Also an older white gentleman rude as well. I asked to open a rug that I was thinking about purchasing mind you the rug was nearest $95 and I asked him if he could unroll the rug so that I could see what it would look like before purchasing it, and he said no that's the best I can do and literally did nothing to help!!!! And as I'm checking out again, here comes the cashier belittling me. I was purchasing a pillow and she said oh no don't put that on my counter I'm having allergies go sit over there on the chair, demanding me to move the merchandise that I'm paying for, didn't say it nicely literally talking down to me like I'm her child!!!!!! And reading the reviews of this place I'm not the first person to feel like this about the cashier and rightfully so if you can't have good customer service and treat people with respect then find a new job because clearly customer service isn't for you.!!!!! spent over $100 in there just to be belittled and high key disrespected!!!!! Gross behavior especially at their BIG AGE I would've thought that they'd be a little more mature, and have better customer service but I digress. Oh yeah, almost forgot one part I purchase something big and when you purchase something big they normally a lot you a time To come and pick it up I asked the lady a simple question I said, when's the latest day that I could come get that and she said no you have to give me a day getting smart with me when all I did was inquire what's the latest day that I can come and pick it up because I have a toddler with autism that I have to plan for so I'm asking for the last available day and I was getting attitude for no reason just for her to tell me the day, after all the attitude was had.. horrible the black lady with the short gray haircut. You literally have no reason to be acting like this working as a cashier at a Habitat For Humanity store. If this is the best job that you can get at your big age. You definitely don't need to be talking down to people you 70 year old cashier do better !!!!you definitely need to reevaluate the way you talk to people!! Zero stars for the customer service because that's 75% of the experience!!

Awesome. I had heard it was a thrift shop and while they have amazing deals they are more like a boutique or a consignment shop. You can expect to see something unique each time you're here and you'll be surprised by the price each time as well. It is a bonus that every purchase helps to build affordable housing locally. Win win.

Stopped in when I was visiting the area the other day and was very surprised when the place looked to be completely overhauled & organized. It looks more like a second hand store for high priced luxury items & the selection was very scarce along with the price tags that were obscene considering how well I used to make out here for our home improvement items. A place I once knew that I could come in and spend a quick 20 bucks for some things I needed to make home repairs doesn't seem to be the case anymore.

Would normally rate four stars or above but our recent experiences weren't the best we have had. There are definitely some nice finds to be located here from time to time but it seems they are getting a bit big for their britches with some of the prices, especially on furniture. Was shocked when I went in and saw a bunch of used furniture listed in the hundreds. To top that off, the volunteer working the register at one point was a bit short and snarky with us when we asked a question, witnessed the same with another customer as well. I'm sure we will be back, but when it comes to furniture I think we will be having better luck on Facebook marketplace.

Organized, however extremely expensive for used goods, or mismatched items. If the profits are to help less fortunate, i understand pricing at prices where people want to buy, but the used furniture is higher than new as well as construction materials... whomever is pricing these items needs to get off their high horse. Same with most habitat stores. Your in a weak economy....try and help out the average customer ....makes sense for " humanity"

I will never go back. I am all about reuse before buying new and try to look for used before going brand new. I never had a problem with Restore in West Norriton. Today went and was looking for things to finish interior of small barn. There's hardly anything and what they did have was priced retail- not many deals at all. Managed to find a few things to buy...it's for the common good...cashier rude as could be- wouldn't bag my merchandise or wrap glass items. She pointed to where newspaper was...in bottom of shelf that I hardly could reach...stood there and watched me struggle to reach for paper and bags squirreled between to cabinets . It was bizarre to say the least. Not going back and letting family and friends know it's WOT=waste of time. We all work to hard for our dollar to be treated like that and our time is valuable too.
