I am very hurt and dissapointed after many years of coming to the Salon. I had on stylist for a long time that was excellent. She left on Maternity leave and the Head of the Salon took over my hair for the time she was out. The original hairstylist apparently felt no need to tell me when she had returned to the salon. I wrote too. After all those years with her I never heard an explanation. The new stylist never folowed the exact formula thus ruining my hair that took years to repair from lack of hormones, medications for a very serious surgery. During the height ofthe Pandemic and when they were initially open afterwards, I felt less than comfortable asking for masks to be worn due to my immunocompromised state. I am a good client. I loved my hair. I loved this place. I am loyal and my heart is broken. It is hard to find a great Salon and I don't know what happened. Proceed with great caution.

First time experience and I finally got what I asked for without a battle! Kristen seemed to know and understand everything I wanted and created highlights on my hair that were multidimensional. I loved my whole experience and it was relaxing. Thankful for the opportunity to fall in love with a new place!

All of the girls working in this salon are very friendly, talented, and professional. Milena has done my balayage the last 2 times I came in and it looks fantastic! I always love how I look when I leave! I live 20 minutes away and I have tried several other salons that are closer, but they just don’t compare. Don’t bother looking around, because you won’t find a better place!

I am sorry to have to write this review about my recent appointment at Chateau Blu, but it was an incredibly negative experience. I purchased a Groupon for a Keratin treatment as I have for the past two years. I've previously had good experiences at this salon. My appointment was with Milena, the owner of the salon. When I arrived, she informed me that she misplaced the Keratin treatment and would be giving me a Brazilian Blowout instead. I inquired about this treatment and Milena told me that it is an upgraded treatment. I trusted Milena- which proved to be a mistake. Milena washed my hair, then applied the treatment. She blow-dried my hair and then flat ironed it. That was the end of my in-salon treatment. It was a quick process- unlike the Keratin which takes a bit longer. Milena was friendly and we had a great conversation during the treatment. She gave me a bottle of 'ion bonding' spray and instructed me to rinse my hair after 24 hours, then apply the spray and blow-dry and flat iron my hair. After that, she recommended washing my hair within 72 hours. Once I got home, I googled the Brazilian Blowout as I was unfamiliar with the product and was surprised to see that the procedure that Milena followed was different than the procedure that I read about on the Brazilian Blowout website. I emailed Milena to inquire about this and she assured me that I should follow the procedure as she described in the salon. The next day, I still had an uneasy feeling, so I contacted Brazilian Blowout customer service. The rep that I spoke with told me that Milena did not follow proper procedure and was shocked that I left the salon with the chemicals still in my hair. He instructed me to rinse my hair immediately as the chemicals can cause serious damage to my hair. After doing this, I contacted Milena who, unfortunately, insisted that she was correct in her procedure and did not offer any solutions to make this situation right. This is where the communication ended and she has since ignored my further attempts to contact her. I can't even begin to write how stressful and disappointing this experience has been. Please be careful before going to this salon!
