My husband and I worked with Emma and Hilary in 2023/24 and had a fantastic experience. They are kind, patient, incredibly talented, fair with hours and pricing, they guide but they also listen and aren’t controlling, they’re flexible if your vision changes along the way. I had always been hesitant in working with anyone on interior design prior, so I’m very grateful for such a positive experience. We worked on our family room, dining room, and kitchen. And, I swore I’d never do wallpaper… but through their ideas and education, I fell in love with wallpaper ;) thank you both!

So happy with my window treatments from Avakian Design. The personalized service was great. The in home measurements, help selecting the fabric and style of drape made things so easy. Things were ready when they said they would be and the installer did a beautiful job. I highly recommend using Avakian Design.

Emma is a pleasure to work with and I am very happy with my window treatments. My windows treatments were about 20 years old, annd I was desperate for an updated look. Emma came to the house, to measure the windows and discuss options and then I went to her store to pick out the fabrics. Emma was very helpful pointing me in the right direction with color schemes that our perfect for our taste. I would definitely use Emma again.

My husband and I were looking for an interior designer to help us purchase additional pieces for our entryway, living, and dining rooms. We were looking to finish and elevate our space since we purchased most of the main pieces. Working with Emma was a joy. From the initial consultation to the final installation, Emma understood our vision to create a sophisticated, classy yet casual space. When she proposed adding a feature wall, we collaborated to pick a contemporary design to fit our aesthetic. Emma also helped us pick new window treatments and curtains. When I picked one fabric and later changed my mind, she was accessible and accommodated my request to come to my home to reconsider options. The designer Emma Boursalian is incredibly easy and fun to work with. She gives excellent suggestions and the contractors she recommends to complete the jobs are outstanding. I will only use her and no other interior designers. Looking forward to using her on upcoming projects! She makes home renovation projects easy, and run smoothly/ efficiently.
