ACME Markets in Newtown Square is a clean, fully stocked grocery store with lots of fresh food, including an assortment of meat and seafood, a produce department with fresh fruits and vegetables, and a fantastic deli department. The bakery offers cakes and cupcakes, and services like Grocery Delivery, DriveUp & Go™, and Order Ahead are available. They have sales all the time on great products and are a standard in low prices. The staff is a mixed bag, with some friendly cashiers and deli employees who provide great service, though others seem miserable. A store manager received strong criticism. While the store is aged, it is kept up well. Some negatives include occasional out-of-stock refrigerated items, a lack of small shopping carts, and problems with expired beer in the make-your-own six-pack section. There is no pharmacy at this location.
Very clean store. Hoagies and deli used to be exceptional. Now the hoagies are under filled and the salads look like they have been out too long and are very overpriced.

This ACME location in Newtown Square has plenty of stock on grocery items and fresh produce available anytime ACME is open for business. The employees are very helpful and knowledgeable about locating items within the store. The store is very clean and organized. Keep up the good work 👍-Good Luck in 2026 & Beyond.
